 The Journey Begins
Looks like it is finally here. Tomorrow is the day I leave the country to start the adventure of my lifetime. Although I leave tomorrow I am surprisingly calm and collected. I doubt tomorrow as I am about to board the plane Ill be this calm, but right now as I do some last minute packing, and shopping I am very content and ready to embark on this journey.
So, what do I do on my last day in America? Obviously indulge on my last american meals, do some last minute shopping for basic necessities, research the airlines Ill be flying to so I don't wander around aimlessly, and spend time with my family of course!
For the friends who want to keep in touch, I will have data and texting so if y'all want to talk on the phone download WhatsApp on your phone! I will do my best to post when I make it, which should be on the 7th of May!!
until then Hasta Luego!

Traveling to Thailand Tip #8
This past weekend while in Bangkok, we experienced something rather strange, at least to us. We were told about a lot of different cultural nuances (the do’s and don’ts) but for some reason, this one was left out.
We were walking to our next train and all of a sudden, the national anthem played over the intercom and everyone around us froze. Luckily I did the same. If you don’t stop and remain still during the national anthem, you can get charged with lese-majeste, or a crime against the crown. Also, refrain from talking or laughing during this short period of time, it is seen as disrespectful.

Traveling to Thailand Tip #3
Chances are if you're traveling to Thailand, you're not from there. If this is the case, do not drink the water. Purified bottled water only.

Traveling to Thailand Tip #1
If it looks like a brothel, it is a brothel.
Our first night in Thailand we managed to go to a bar that was renowned for its attentive customer service. Our first clue was the grinning white men coming from a “mysterious” 3rd floor room. Our second hint was the numerous photos of sadomasochism on the walls; but besides that, the “waitresses” we’re nice, the billboard games were free and the beer was cold.
