 Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Activities: Arrive in Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel, and attend a trek briefing.

Overnight: Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Drive to Besisahar and Continue to Bhulbhule

Activities: Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar (760m) and then continue to Bhulbhule (840m) by jeep or bus.

Duration: 6-7 hours’ drive

Overnight: Teahouse in Bhulbhule.

Day 3: Trek to Jagat

Activities: Trek from Bhulbhule to Jagat (1,300m), passing through terraced fields and traditional villages.

Duration: 5-6 hours

 

Day 4: Trek to Dharapani

Activities: Trek from Jagat to Dharapani (1,860m), crossing the Marsyangdi River and ascending through lush forests.

Duration: 6-7 hours

Overnight: Teahouse in Dharapani.

Day 5: Trek to Chame

Activities: Trek from Dharapani to Chame (2,670m), the administrative center of the Manang district, known for its beautiful mountain views.

Duration: 5-6 hours

Overnight: Teahouse in Chame.

Day 6: Trek to Pisang

Activities: Trek from Chame to Pisang (3,200m), passing through pine forests and enjoying the first views of the Annapurna range.

Duration: 5-6 hours

Overnight: Teahouse in Pisang.

Day 7: Trek to Manang

Activities: Trek from Pisang to Manang (3,540m), passing through traditional Tibetan-style villages and crossing the Brathang village.

Duration: 5-6 hours

Overnight: Teahouse in Manang.

Day 8: Acclimatization Day in Manang

Activities: Acclimatization day. Take a short hike to explore the area, such as a visit to the nearby Gangapurna Lake or the village of Bryaga. This helps with acclimatization.

Overnight: Teahouse in Manang.

Day 9: Trek to Yak Kharka/Ladhar

Activities: Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka (4,060m), passing through alpine meadows and enjoying the increasingly rugged terrain.

Duration: 3-4 hours

Overnight: Teahouse in Yak Kharka.

Day 10: Trek to Thorong Phedi/High Camp

Activities: Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4,450m), the base camp for the Thorong La Pass.

Duration: 3-4 hours

Overnight: Teahouse in Thorong Phedi.

Day 11: Cross Thorong La Pass and Trek to Muktinath

Activities: Early morning trek to cross Thorong La Pass (5,416m) and then descend to Muktinath (3,800m), a significant pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists.

Duration: 7-8 hours

Overnight: Teahouse in Muktinath.

Day 12: Drive/Fly to pokhara through Jomsom

Duration: 6-7 hours by Road and 20min by Flight

Overnight: Hotel in Pokhara.

Day 13: Drive or Fly Back to Kathmandu

Activities: Drive or fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Rest or explore Kathmandu’s cultural sites.

Duration: 6-7 hours’ drive or 25-minute flight

Overnight: Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 14: Departure

Activities: Transfer to the airport for your departure flight or continue exploring Kathmandu if time allows. #AnnapurnaCircuit

One of the most beautiful camp sites I've come across. Along the mighty Rupin river, way above the clouds with occasional hail storms, mist all around, views of snow clad peaks ahead and the valley and older camp sites behind us. Sheep, mountain goats and horses walked through and around the camp, and we caught a glimpse of the climb that lay ahead of us. . At 13,350 feet the Upper Waterfall Camp was easily one of the most picturesque and coldest camps of the trek. The last camp before the summit, where all we could think about was the deadly climb to the top on one of the longest days of the trek, and what the weather gods had in store for us! . Arrived at the camp around noon on June 16th.
