Reservation ratio system in colleges of India Reservation is a big issue in India whether it's job or study. In India, special seats are reserved for some group of societies.bIn some colleges of India for a reference in Chandigarh,15% seats in each college are reserved for the students who lived outside Chandigarh. Due to this a high part of students are not able to get admission in Chandigarh. Deserving students who obtain 90 or above percentile does not make it while a student with 80% who live in Chandigarh can claim their seat. Is this the way India is heading towards progress? A student always applies to a college outside it's resident city because it doesn't have proper colleges. But due to this reservation system they are forced to study either in inferior colleges or do complementary studies because of lack of resources.
