“Sign The Contract!”- Conor McGregor calls out Nate Diaz for Trilogy Fight

And we are back on track, after a long time UFC 249 had kicked off. That will certainly be an action-packed event tonight. The human highlight reel, Justin Gaethje takes on the lightweight division's Boogyman, Tony Ferguson, how can this not be a barnburner? And as if that was not enough, Conor McGregor has clearly announced that UFC is working with Nate Diaz on the trilogy fight. The lightweight division is stacked with some of UFC's biggest and baddest stars like Khabib Nurmagomedov, Tony Ferguson, Conor McGregor, and Justin Gaethje. At UFC 249 it was Khabib Nurmagomedov who was to defend his title against Tony Ferguson. However, he was replaced by Gaethje to headline UFC 249 because of the pandemic that was falling apart. And that leaves without opponent Conor McGregor. Conor McGregor has been rumored to fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson's winner for the lightweight title. Nonetheless, the winner is expected to fight next Khabib Nurmagomedov, while Tony and Justin battle for the interim crown. Conor wants to go back to the octagon in July though. But it did not seem possible because Conor did not have to take on any opponents. Conor McGregor gave a big hint for the trilogy war during a recent back and forth with Nate Diaz. Conor said: "Shut your eyelid and sign a contract." Nate Diaz has lost a high-profile fight against the BMF, Jorge Masvidal, after making an emphatic return against Anthony Pettis. And he is currently sitting without an opponent on the sideline, too. And that makes booking the long-awaited third fight between Diaz and McGregor simpler for UFC, and even more. Whereas in the first fight Nate Diaz shocked the world Conor McGregor made an impressive return in the rematch. These two have a legendary rivalry that has been going on till today. And the fans cannot wait to see one more time those two fight each other. It will be interesting to see if Diaz agrees with McGregor for yet another showdown.
