Minneapolis cop knelt on George Floyd charged with 3rd-degree murder
Fired Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin has been charged with George Floyd’s demise with 3rd-degree murder and manslaughter. Chauvin is the former cop caught on camera, forcing his knee into the neck of George Floyd on Monday (local time), when Floyd repeatedly said, "I can't breathe." Floyd died later. "That's less than four days," Minnesota Public Safety Commissioner John Harrington stated. "That's extraordinary. We have never charged a case in that time frame." Investigation into the remaining three fired officers-Thomas Lane, Tou Thao and J. Alexander Kueng-starting, said Freeman. He said his office was concentrating on "the most dangerous perpetrator," so Chauvin was given priority, but he added that he expected charges against the other officers. "We are in the process of continuing to review the evidence," Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman said. "There may be subsequent charges later." Chauvin was arrested at 11:44 am by agents of the Minnesota Criminal Apprehension Bureau in account of 3rd-degree murder. Officials registered in Minneapolis. Freeman said there would be a criminal complaint later in the day and that his office did not have ample evidence to arrest Chauvin until Friday.
Tumblr media
He noted that the four days that have passed since Floyd died were "by far the fastest we have ever charged a police officer." Cases typically take nine months to a year, because prosecutors have a heavy presumption of evidence against police officers in criminal cases, Freeman said. "We can only charge a case when we have sufficient admissible evidence to prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt," he said. "As of right now, we have that." Earlier Friday, in an emotional news conference, Minnesota Governor Tim Walzsaid that this week's violence that destabilized Minneapolis and St. Paul is the culmination of 'generations of suffering, frustration' over racism in police action. "Their voices went unheard, and now generations of pain is manifesting itself in front of the world," Walz said. "And the world is watching." The governor sought "swift" justice for the officers who were involved in killing Floyd. He also called for an end to violence, and recognized the challenge of asking the same organization to restore order that caused the unrest. Yet he said that the real problems involved in the death of George Floyd could not be resolved before the actual fires are extinguished. Steve Carell’s new Space Force Netflix series isn’t as good as you want
When showrunner Greg Daniels of The Office U.S. teams up on a new workplace comedy series with his star Steve Carell, you expect it to be a huge, side-splitting laugh-riot to be. This is not Space Force. It is good, it is nice, at times it is even enjoyable. There are some scorching jokes at the detriment of an unidentified president who is certainly Donald Trump, and after a few episodes, there is a very enjoyable relationship between Carell and John Malkovich as the series settles in. It is not Space Force is the frenetic, ridiculous, and bright comedy that you really want to be. Expectations in Television is a dangerous game. Premiering this week on Netflix, Space Force is created around Carell's newly promoted four-star general Mark Naird, who assumed he would take over the air force from the jerkish Kick Grabaston (Noah Emmerich). Rather, he is charged with heading up Space Force, an organization whose mission is to get "boots on the moon" by 2024, following a presidential tweetstorm – or, according to the show, it was "boobs on the moon" but they are fairly confident it was a typo. Stationed in the middle of nowhere in Colorado, the gravely voiced Naird with his uptight shoulders (or perhaps that is just the epaulets on his poly-cotton blend uniform) has to manage a group of specialists, including Dr. Mallory (Malkovich) and a green-ish recruit team, whilst also trying to fend off pressure from POTUS and Congress.
Tumblr media
There is the familiar, initial stand-off between the military and the scientists that happily is a tired trope Space Force that progresses past after the first few episodes, moving more towards the future friendship of buddy between the very different Naird and Mallory. The question is also why Naird 's wife (Lisa Kudrow) is now in a maximum-security jail just outside the area. Ben Schwartz plays a buffoon communications director based on a path to success involving satisfying the unidentified POTUS, a character not dissimilar to Jean-Ralphio's Parks and Recreation role in wide strokes. There are certainly laugh-out - loud moments – Carell doing the "Kokomo" of The Beach Boys, a laser tag skirmish against the Air Force, the meeting of super alpha joint chiefs – but there is not enough of them to sustain the series in its first season of 10 episodes. Jojo Siwa lets her side-ponytail down during TikTok's Wipe It Down challenge
In part, she is known to fans for her bubbly personality and combination of side-ponytails and vibrant bows. However on Monday, on the eve of her seventeenth birthday, Jojo Siwa gave her 22.2 million TikTok followers a rare look down on her natural hair as she jumped on the viral Wipe It Down Challenge of the social-networking site. 'Tomorrow is my birthday,' the Dance Mom alum and social media influencer captioned her transformation's quick clip. Jojo (born Joelle Joanie Siwa) followed the trend by spraying her bathroom mirror and cleaning it with a towel to show a new look. At the top of the short clip she flashed her contagious smile with blonde tresses styled with a pink bow in her top-side ponytail, while dressed in a flashy pink and blue jacket. She exchanged her wide-eyed grin and ponytail after that one wipe for a shocked look on her face and blonde locks styled long and flowing with a portion to her left.

Solar System: Related Terms with Definitions, Basics of Astronomy
Solar system is a gravitationally bound system that contain sun and other objects that orbit around sun, either directly or indirectly. The bodies orbiting around sun directly, include eight planets and there are moons that orbit indirectly. The solar system was formed 4.6 billion years ago by the gravitational collapse of a massive interstellar molecular cloud. The majority part of system ‘mass is possessed by sun, Jupiter. Inner planets: mercury, Venus, earth and mars are terrestrial planets that are made up of rock and metal. Outer planets are giant which are considerably massive than inner planets. All eight planets have almost circular orbits that lie within a nearly flat disc called the ecliptic. Jupiter and Saturn These are the gas giants that are made up of hydrogen and helium. Uranus and Neptune These are known as ice giants which are composed by the substances called volatiles like water, ammonia and methane. These volatiles have higher melting points than hydrogen and helium. Planets
Tumblr media
Planet is an astronomical object that is enough massive that it can get folded by its own gravity and is not massive that it can cause thermo-nuclear fusion. Planet rotates in its own axis (spinning) and revolves around sun too. It is in circular shape and has a core too. A few properties of the planets in our solar system are given here. Mercury: since it is near to sun so its surface temperature is 426.7 degree Celsius. However the opposite side to sun has temperature of 173 degree Celsius. Venus: due to density of atmosphere, air pressure on its surface is 90 times more than that of earth, making it not suitable for life. A planet of life, where we are living. Mars: it has red color, it is made up of rock and experiences many wind storms. Jupiter: it is largest of all planets. Saturn: it contains many asteroids which cause rings surrounding it. Uranus: its spinning axis is parallel to its orbit so seems to slide on axis. Neptune: it is farthest planet. Planets are categorized into 2 types. Terrestrials: they are small with low density and rocky. They include Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars. Giant: they are large in size and also known as gas giants including Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Stars
Tumblr media
Star is a massive ball made of plasma that emits light throughout the space. Size, brightness, color, temperature and compositions are the points, on which properties of star can be determined. Stars are formed within the dust clouds and are scattered in most galaxies. The Orion Nebula is a familiar example of such a dust cloud. Now the question arises that how they shine? So let’s understand it, well it is too interesting… All stars, including sun are hot balloons of hot glowing plasma which is held together by its own gravity. Gravity of star is too intense and they are continuously crushing themselves inward. Now due to the gravitational friction, interior of star heats up. A star like sun has 5800 K temperature at its surface but temperature of core can be 15 million K. Due to this high temperature in core, nuclear fusion takes place where hydrogen atoms gets fused into helium atoms. As a result, an enormous amount of energy gets released in form of gamma rays. Against the gravitational contraction, gamma rays push the star outward as they are trapped inside star. This is the reason why stars don’t contract. Now these gamma rays jump outside after being absorbed by an atom. It happens many times in a second and a single photon takes 100,000 years to reach the surface of star from its core. So as they reach on surface, they have lost some of their energy, becoming visible photons instead of gamma rays, from which it was started. After being emitted from star, they travel in straight line in space and they can travel forever if they don’t run into anything. Moon
Tumblr media
Moon is a body that is smaller than planets and revolves around planets. Moon is the natural satellite of our planet as earth has 1 moon, mars has 2 and Jupiter has 67 moons. It is the closest celestial body to earth. It is 239, 000 miles away from earth. It completes its one round around earth in 27.3 days. Since there is no atmosphere of moon so eve after years the dust present on surface of moon is in same position as before. Its size is ¼ of earth. Due to small mass and size, it has gravity that is 1/6 of earth’s gravity. That’s why you can jump on moon so high, because your body has only mass, it has no weight there. (W = mg) It is not a planet as it does not revolves around sun. It looks brighter in night because of the sun’s light reflected from it. Satellite
Tumblr media
Satellite is defined as an object which is launched into space to orbit or can be defined as it is a moon, machine or planet which orbits a planet or star. As earth revolves around sun so it is a satellite, similarly moon revolves around earth so it is also. Both of them are natural satellites. However many artificial satellites have also been sent into space that are revolving around earth. The functions of these satellites can be different, some of them are used to take pictures of that planet which helps meteorologists to predict about weather and to monitor the cloud patterns. Pictures of other planets, black hole, dark matter and sun help scientist to understand solar system in better way. The path followed by a satellite is called orbit. Orbits can be at different altitudes and may have different rotation and orientation relative to earth. Satellites at higher altitudes of 36,000 Km facing same side of earth all the time are called geostationary satellites. Their speed is same as the rotation of earth so it seems to be stationary. This helps them to collect information over specific areas, continuously. Usually communication and weather satellites have this type of orbits. Galaxy
Tumblr media
A galaxy is a huge collection of dust particles, gas and billions of stars and their solar systems. The thing that keeps galaxy bound, is its gravity. Our galaxy, Milky Way also has a super massive black hole in its core that causes gravity effect. In night, when you see stars on sky, then actually you see them in Milky Way. There are countless galaxies around us. You can get estimate of total number of galaxies by knowing that Hubble Space Telescope has seen 10,000 galaxies in a small patch of space in 12 days. Our galaxy is spiral shaped and it has curved arms which makes its look like pinwheel. Other galaxies are smooth and ovel shaped, called elliptical galaxies. Others are irregular shaped and look like blobs. Galaxies look bright, due to the brightness of the stars inside it. Light year Light year is the unit of distance and is defined as the distance travelled by light in one year. Since light travels at speed of 300,000 km/s, so in 1 year it can travel 10 trillion Km. So 1 light year = 9,500,000,000,000 Km. Actually this unit is used for very very large distances, because we are not discussing about cities or countries, we are discussing planets and stars. We appear to define distances in our solar system in terms of an Astronomical Unit (AU). The AU is known as the Earth's mean distance from the Sun. It is about 150 million km (93 million miles) away. It may be said that Mercury is about 1/3 of an AU from the Earth, and that Pluto is about 40 AU from the Earth. Asteroid belt
Tumblr media
It lies between Mars and Jupiter. Asteroid belt is defined as a torus shaped (a surface that is generated by revolving a circle in 3D in the axis that is coplanar with circle) area in solar system which is located b/w the orbits of mars and Jupiter. This region contains solid and irregular shaped bodies that are smaller than planets, called asteroids. Kuiper belt
Tumblr media
Kuiper belt, also known as edgeworth- Kuiper belt, is a disc in outer solar system which is extended from the orbit of Neptune to 50 Au of sun. It is similar to asteroid belt but it is more wider, 20 times wider and 20 to 200 times massive. It also consists of small bodies like asteroid belt. Since many asteroids are composed of rock and metal, so most objects of Kuiper belt are made of large frozen volatiles (named as ices) including methane, ammonia and water. Dwarf planets
Tumblr media
These are the massive objects that are not satellites and does not have any specific region in space, unlike other planets. It is in direct orbit of sun. They have sufficient mass for their self-gravity to overcome the forces of rigid bodies. Currently, five dwarf planets have been found. Ceres is located in the asteroid belt while remaining are present in or near to the Kuiper belt. Solar wind
Tumblr media
It is defined as a stream of charged particles that are released from the upper atmosphere of the sun, which is known as corona (it is the outer layer of sun, when it stretches far in space then its particles reach on the surface of earth). The stream with which solar wind is made up of, consists of electrons, protons and alpha particles having kinetic energy ranging from 0.5 to 10 KeV. Composition of solar wind also includes heavy ions and atomic nuclei like carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, neon, magnesium, silicon, sulphur and iron, in a little amount. Comet
Tumblr media
Comets are snowballs made of frozen gases, rock and dust and they orbit around sun. Initially its size is smaller, when it is in frozen state, but when it reaches near sun, it releases gas or dust due to the heat of sun. These emitted dust particles and gases made a tail that stretches away from sun for millions of miles. These icy bodies are also known as snowy dirtballs or dirty snowballs. They are composed of dust, ice, carbon dioxide, ammonia, methane and many more. Nebula
Tumblr media
Nebula is a giant cloud of gas and dust present in space. Its plural is nebulae. Some nebula come from the dust and gas which is resulted by the explosion of a dying star. Nebula is also known as star nurseries as many stars are formed over here. They are found in the space b/w stars (interstellar space). The closest nebula to our earth is named as “Helix Nebula” which is approximately 700 light years away from us. Mean it will take 700 years to bring you there, if you can move with speed of light. Supernova A supernova is the largest ever observed eruption by humans. Each blast is a star's incredibly bright, super powerful blast. There are two types of supernova. One of them is caused by the death of a massive star. Massive stars have huge amount of fuels in their core/center which causes tons of energy, that’s why center is too hot. This heat produces pressure and this pressure prevents star o collapse. There is 2 types of force inside a star, both are opposite. Star’s gravity tries to make it smaller by squeezing it, as much possible, but the nuclear fuel in core, creates too pressure that produces strong outward pressure. When fuel ends in a massive star then it cools off due to which pressure also drops and gravity wins and star is dead. Second type of supernova occurs when two stars orbit one another and one of them is earth sized dwarf. Supernova event is so bright that they outshine entire galaxy for few days or even months and are visible across whole universe. Black holes
Tumblr media
Black hole is defined as a place in space where grip of gravity is so strong that even light can’t come out of it. The reason of strong gravity is that matter has been squeezed into tiny space which happens during death of star. Black holes are invisible as no light can come out of them. They can be of different sizes. Small black holes can be of the size of an atom, since these are very tiny but have mass (amount of matter in object) equivalent to large sized mountain. Second type of black holes is termed as “stellar”. Their mass can be upto 20 times of sun or even more. Largest black hole is called supermassive with the mass of 1 million suns together. Research tells that our galaxy, Milky Way has a super massive black hole at its center named as Sagittarius A. Black hole does not vender in space to eat stars and planets. Moreover, our earth will not fall into black hole, because there is no black hole near o our earth in solar system. Dark matter
Tumblr media
Dark matter is a substance with which 27 percent of universe is made up. It is invisible and it can’t emit, absorb or reflect any electromagnetic radiation like x rays and radio waves even light. It can interact with ordinary matter. This is fact due to which astronomers are able to make maps of its distribution even it is invisible. Falling star or meteoroids
Tumblr media
A body moving in solar system that changes its identity and becomes meteor when it enters earth’s atmosphere. When a meteoroid enters in earth’s atmosphere at speed of 20 km/s then streak of light is produced due to aerodynamic heating. This streak of light is seen for both the glowing object and tail of glowing particles that it leaves. This phenomenon is called meteor or shooting star. If many meteors appears after seconds or minutes and appear to get originated from same point in sky then it is called meteor shower. Now if the object bears ablation and falls or touches ground then it is called meteorite. Falling star is nothing to do with star, it is just a term used to identify the meteor on sky. Volunteers who received Moderna coronavirus vaccine had positive results
According to the biotech company, which collaborated with the National Institutes of Health to create the vaccine, volunteers who obtained the Covid-19 vaccine from Moderna have had promising early results. If future trials are going well, the company's vaccine could be made available to the public as early as January, Dr. Tal Zaks, chief medical officer of Moderna, told. "This is absolutely good news and news that we think many have been waiting for quite some time," Zaks stated. These early results are derived from the Phase 1 clinical trial which usually studies a small number of people and focuses on whether a vaccine is safe and induces an immune response. The research findings were not peer reviewed or reported in a scientific journal, led by the National Institutes of Health. According to the World Health Organization, Moderna, based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is one of eight companies worldwide conducting human clinical trials of a novel coronavirus vaccine. Both in the United States are two others, Pfizer and Inovio, one at the University of Oxford in England, and four are in China. Moderna has inoculated dozens of study participants and measured antibodies in eight of them. According to the company, all eight developed neutralizing antibodies to the virus at rates that matched or surpassed those seen in people who have naturally recovered from Covid-19. Neutralizing the antibodies attaches to the virus, leaving it unable to attack human cells.
Tumblr media
"We've demonstrated that these antibodies, this immune response, can actually block the virus," Zaks said. "I think this is a very important first step in our journey towards having a vaccine." A vaccine specialist who is not involved in Moderna's work said the company's results are "great." "It shows that not only did the antibody bind to the virus, but it prevented the virus from infecting the cells," said Dr. Paul Offit, a member of the NIH panel setting up a framework for American vaccine studies. While the vaccine had good results in the laboratory, it is not known if it would protect people in the real world. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has cleared the company for beginning Phase 2 trials, usually involving several hundred people, and Moderna plans to begin large-scale clinical trials in July, known as Phase 3 trials. Usually some include tens of thousands of men. Offit said before the outbreak, vaccine developers would typically test their drug in thousands of people before moving on to Phase 3, but said that Moderna is "extremely unlikely" to have vaccinated so many by July, since they have vaccinated just dozens so far. He said going into phase 3 without vaccinating too many people makes sense for Moderna, considering too Covid-19 kills thousands of people every day. "This is a different time," Offit said. In January, the director of the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Dr. Anthony Fauci said it would take around 12 to 18 months to bring a vaccine on the market. Zaks said he agreed with the Moderna vaccine prediction, setting a delivery date somewhere between January and June of next year. Three participants in the Moderna study reported fever and other flu-like symptoms after receiving the vaccine at a dosage of 250 micrograms. Moderna anticipates there will be between 25 and 100 micrograms in the Phase 3 analysis on dose. So far, subjects of the Moderna study who have been vaccinated both at 25 and 100 micrograms have reached levels of antibody close to or even higher than people who have normally been infected with coronavirus. Yet it is not clear whether natural infection gives re-infection immunity, and then also it is not clear if vaccination gives immunity. "That's a good question, and the truth is, we don't know that yet," Zaks stated. "We are going to have to conduct formal efficacy trials where you vaccinate many, many people, and then you monitor them in the ensuing months to make sure they don't get sick." A post shared by Brian Austin Green (@arent_you_that_guy) on May 16, 2020 at 5:13pm PDT Uploading an image of butterflies sitting on flowers capturing his message even more. More interesting yet? Megan Fox is known to have a tattoo, as some fans would know, with a butterfly quote that reads, "We will all laugh at gilded butterflies." Brian's post was shared a few hours after Machine Gun Kelly was seen hanging out with the Jennifer’s body star. His new post also comes just weeks after speculation about his and Fox’s marriage swirled. The longtime couple sparked split speculation in late April, especially after Brian had been spotted not wearing his wedding band during afternoon outings. In addition, the two have not been photographed together in a while. Just last month a source told exclusively! News they lived separately during the Coronavirus pandemic. Despite their living situation, however, our insider assured us "they don't plan to file divorce right now." Fans of the couple must know that there were a few bumps on the way in their relationship. In 2009, two years after the actor asked the big question, the couple called off their engagement. Their relationship would be reconciled and they would marry a year later. Megan Fox , however, filed for divorce in 2015, after five years of marriage. The next year, the actress debuted a baby bump in the midst of their divorce and it appeared they were in a much better place. The couple shares three kids: Noah Shannon (7), Bodhi Ransom (4), and Journey River (3). Rumors they are breaking are yet to be discussed at this time. Murder Probe after Woman Dies in Suspected Shooting in Blackburn
Lancashire Police (Blackburn) begin inquiries after a woman was taken to hospital but later died of a possible gunshot wound. Lancashire Police have launched an investigation into murder following a woman's death on Sunday from a suspected gunshot wound. Officers were summoned to King Street, Blackburn shortly after 3:00pm, after reports a woman was unresponsive and gunshots were heard in the area. The woman, who is thought to be a Blackburn-born 19-year-old, was taken to hospital but later died. A post-mortem will take place in due course but police currently believe that a gunshot wound was the cause of death. 'American Idol' Finale Recap: Just Sam Is Remotely Crowned Winner
The list provides spoilers from the "American Idol," season finale including the winner. There may have been no live audience, no dramatic lighting and no venue to sing on, but ABC Sunday night's "American Idol" still crowned a winner. Host Ryan Seacrest, marooned at home by the coronavirus pandemic just like the rest of us, declared a "Idol" winner of the reality singing competition in a much more subdued manner than normal, but there were still belted tracks, inspiring back stories and a winner so enthusiastic you almost did not realize she was celebrating alone in a bedroom, carrying an iPad with a family member on video chat. Seacrest called Just Sam, a Harlem-born 20-year-old who set out to make her grandmother proud, "Idol" 's third ABC season winner after singing her heart out from home. Sam was so shocked by the news she was almost dropping the tablet in for the big moment with her grandmother video-chatting.The episode started by awarding the top seven to the five contestants who had to participate in the two-hour finale for the crown: Dillion James, Jonny West, Arthur Gunn, Francisco Martin, and Just Sam. This meant that the rivalry included Julia Gargano and Louis Knight. In the episode the five finalists had two performances, one pre-recorded "celebration song" and one live sung. The live song was one that each performer performed in the competition at some other stage and winner Just Sam gets her released as a single.

There was nothing but praise from the judges – Lionel Richie, Luke Bryan, and Katy Perry – for all 10 Sunday night shows, and everybody seemed to be on such an equally inoffensive and friendly footing that there was no real front runner as the vote closed. The episode's remaining 40 or so minutes were packed with remotely shot appearances by Bryan, Rascal Flatts, Perry and Cynthia Erivo, before eventually the top two, Just Sam and Arthur Gunn, were announced. Seacrest declared Only Sam the winner after one more commercial break. "Can I thank America now?" she yelled literally on the television. But there was not much time for chit chat (or the opportunity to do it by video chat), so instead the episode ended with a cheesy version of Richie's popular "We Are the World" featuring contestants from the season and judges, seen over photos of an barren, socially distant America. That would never have been a normal "Idol" finale anyway. Do not forget leaving your valuable comment on this piece of writing and sharing with your near and dear ones. Eight-Month-Old Baby Dies of Coronavirus-Linked Kawasaki Disease
A baby aged eight months has been the youngest confirmed target of Kawasaki Disease in Britain, the unusual infancy disease related to coronavirus. After coming down with a rash that looked like sunburn, high fever and swollen lymph nodes, Alexander Parsons died in his mom's arms. He went on to experience extreme sickness and turned red in his hands and foot soles. His parents suspect that his illness may be linked with the coronavirus pandemic, with thousands of other children in the UK developing a similar inflammatory disease. Alex was admitted to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth on April 6, and the day after he was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease. He was taken to Bristol Royal Hospital for Children where a scan revealed coronary aneurysms, fluid, and enlarged arteries, as his situation became more severe. He died on April 26. Kathryn Rowlands, 29, Alex's mum told: 'I cannot believe I have been holding him for longer than he has been alive. I do not want to be whole again. 'The doctors and nurses who fought to save Alex were amazing-but if they knew more about the Covid-Kawasaki connection, they might have done more. 'The government needs to investigate the Covid-Kawasaki link to get the facts out there, instead of keeping it secret. 'The fact on June 1 that they want kids back in schools is nuts. A JustGiving page set up to raise funds for the family including a memorial to Alex has raised nearly £10,000 so far. It states Alex tested negative on Covid-19 when he was given swabs. And in children infected with the coronavirus pandemic, physicians have expressed questions of an inflammatory illness. A Kawasaki-like disease related to coronavirus is believed to have infected up to 100 children in the UK. Professor Russell Viner, president of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, said there were '75 to 100′ cases around the country on Thursday. A 14-year-old boy who is treated at Evelina London Children's Hospital with no underlying health conditions is thought to be the first British child to die of the syndrome. Prof Viner told the Today program of BBC Radio 4 that it tends to occur after a child has been infected with Covid-19 and is the 'immune system of the body' that overreacts to coronavirus.' He said parents should be aware of the disease but they need not worry. ‘We can count the number of children that have died with coronavirus on the fingers of two hands, compared to over 30,000 in adults. And that tells us most of what we need to know,’ he said.

‘This is a new syndrome. It appears to be happening mostly after coronavirus infection, we believe it’s where the body’s immune system overreacts to coronavirus.’ The key symptoms of the disease are a high and persistent fever and a rash, although some children may suffer stomach pain and gastrointestinal issues, according to Prof Viner. He said that although some patients needed intensive care, others responded to treatment and are improving and beginning to go home. The condition is said to be similar to Kawasaki disease, with symptoms including high fever, rashes, swelling, and a toxic shock reaction. Prof Viner noted that cases appear to 'decline' as the number of Covid-19 infections in adults decreases.
