Winter

Cold, moist, young phlegmy winter now doth lie In swaddling clouts, like new-born infancy; Bound up with frosts, and fur’d with hail & snows, And, like an infant, still it taller grows. December is my first, and now the sun To the southward Tropick his swift race doth run. This month he’s hous’d in horned Capricorn, From thence he ’gins to length the shortened morn, Through Christendom with great festivity, Now’s held (but guessed) for blest Nativity. Cold, frozen January next comes in, Chilling the blood, and shrinking up the skin. In Aquarius now keeps the long-wish’d sun, And northward his unwearied course doth run. The day much longer than it was before, The cold not lessened, but augmented more. Now toes and ears, and fingers often freeze, And travelers their noses sometimes leese. Moist snowy February is my last, I care not how the winter-time doth haste. In Pisces now the golden sun doth shine, And northward still approaches to the line. The rivers ’gin to ope, the snows to melt, And some warm glances from his face are felt; Which is increased by the lengthen’d day, Until by’s heat, he drive all cold away. And thus the year in circle runneth round; Where first it did begin, in th’ end its found.

Estetika úpadku

Víceméně hned z počátku mi bylo jasné, jakému tématu se budu věnovat. Estetika úpadku, možná dekadence, je něco, co dokážeme vnímat všichni bez rozdílu:

Květoslave, tahle lavička ne, je to tam nějak pokurvený, naráží Mařena na neudržovaný mobiliář.

Zase nám někdo nasral ke zvonkum, naříká Jarda na palčivou problematiku nebydlení.

KSČM je demokratická strana, uvádí s úsměvem Filip obavy druhých na pravou míru.

Krása celé záležitosti tkví v tom, že vjemy každého se liší—rozpad a rozklad vnímáme všichni, jen ho každý nacházíme někde jinde. Proto jsem se vydal z kopce dolů k jednomu ze subjektivně největších paneláků na Žižkově, který dosahuje až biblických kvalit.

Stavba za pomoci masivních nosných sloupů levituje nad povrchem, který soudruzi pečlivě obložili leštěnými kamennými deskami, jednu vedle druhé. S klesající teplotou klesá také průbojnost familiérního smradu. Značná část tohoto prostoru je prosvětlována esteticky hodnotnou výlohou, která zůstává z čistě pragmatického hlediska přinejmenším poslední desetiletí prakticky stejná.

Tato kvalita mi přijde zábavná ale i silně deprimující zároveň, panelák vyjímaje. Podstata věci neleží u tohoto materialistického základu, jako je čistě promarněná výloha Albertu, kam patrně průměrný konzument zajde tak či onak, možná jím ale je rozvíjena. Zdánlivá laxnost mi přijde jako kvalita na národní úrovni. Při vyhledávání hesla ‘laxnost wikisofia’ jsem, v očekávání čehosi nosného, odkryl neočekávané. ‘[PDF] 6 Trestný čin vraždy’, ‘[PDF] Lidový slovník pro chalupáře’ či ‘Přizdisráči’ jsou třemi ze sedmi výsledků. Vykročím z této socialistické kobky a abych se mohl nadechnout, symbolicky volím směr vzhůru. Na prvním rohu nacházím další milník, který jsem zařadil do tohoto sloupku. Je jím Solární studio Paradise, které mě uhranulo výlohou potaženou tropickou krajinou azurových hodnot, přes které se táhne neonové písmo disgrafika, který vás láká na ‘HAPPY HOURS Po-Pá 20.00-22.00 -30% Ergoline Omega Sun’. Z Google Reviews paradoxně plyne, že majitel solárka, zvaný Gino, dává slibovanou slevu pouze v sobotu. Jiný uživatel hodnotí solárium dvěma z pěti, protože mu přišlo, že na místě pobyl méně času, než za kolik si zaplatil.

Od solária, zpoza jehož dveří mě někdo s nepochopením sledoval, se ubírám Bořivojovou. Přes všechny rušivé elementy se snažím nalézt něco, co by vybočovalo z tak očividného pojetí rozpadu, jako je korodovaný mobiliář či sociální a politická krize. Pohledem očesávám keyboxy, variace smogu, kolemjdoucí, pejskaře, hipstery, dělníky z Východu, mor v podobě fragmentů předvolebních plakátů všelijakých sekt, až narazím na poměrně ekcentrickou palubní desku jednoho z aut.

Pokud opomenu paměťovou degradaci, co musí o člověku vypovídat interiér auta posetý gumovými kačenkami? Narážím na problematiku estetiky rozpadu, a tou je druhá strana téže mince, totiž rozpad morálních hodnot a dalších zásad, který tu musel být vždy, avšak možná nebyl tak patrný či snadno dosažitelný, jako je tomu dnes.
