It might have been been wiser to learn the language before running off to a foreign country, but Charlie wasn’t always one to think things through thoroughly. He’d been on his feet for the better part of the day exploring... just walking... The whole damn city was unfamiliar, and as he had nowhere to be, he was in no rush to get there.

Maybe. Maybe, he’d taken a turn he shouldn’t have. There were two man speaking to him, and based on their tones alone, Charlie could guess they wanted more from him than the time of day-- granted there was no way of knowing for sure.

He was in no mood for a fight, that much was certain (in a way this was what he’d been running from, though he was still in denial about that much). 

Charlie sighed, silently preparing himself.

Brianna slowly drug herself out of her darkened studio and toward the living room where she knew that Light was patiently awaiting her company. The two of them had planned to have lunch in the bundling city and catch up on the events of the last few days and talk about how their different works were developing.

Or at the very least, that was the original plan.

But sadly, like most eccentric artists, their waves of inspiration had the tendency of appearing at the very worse types of moments; and so the last ten hours were spent bent over a messy water color canvas with various paints being not only mixed on her half completed artwork, but also her skin and hair.

And so when she was finally able to shut off the creative part of her mind, and focus solely on the idea of going to lunch with Light for the time being, the tiredness that lingered throughout those previous ten hours overwhelmed her body almost all at once. So much that when she looked at her friend sitting upon her apartment’s couch with a large smile…she swore that there were at least two blurry different versions of him all bathed in different hues of the most gorgeous of reds.

Truly she needed sleep.

Sleep took top priory above all else at the moment.

Even above spending time with her close friend, above having lunch with him and talking about various nonsense, as well as the thought of wanting to file away his utterly surprised expression for future reference when she closed the distance between the two of them and simply collapsed upon his lap in a heap.

“Lunch later, sleep now. Be a good pillow and don’t move~”

Can you "HEMI" now? lol, had my cats removed and ran true duals with 40 series Flowmasters with turn down pipes...sounds so much better. Whoever did the exhaust work on here in the past did a shitty job and the cheap muffler rotted apart. This should last awhile.
