February 14

This morning I was thinking how much things have changed in one year. Last Valentine’s Day I was hiding in the guest bedroom at the Vatore Mansion. Naya was pregnant with AJ. We didn’t know I was about to be kidnapped. Caleb was denying his feelings for me and  I was involved with Dakota at the time.

This Valentine’s Day is very different.

For one, I’m the one who is pregnant this year. My back was hurting me. I wasn’t sure if it was the pregnancy or the fact that I worked fifteen hours at the clinic yesterday.

Thankfully, Caleb helped me with my backache.

“I hope you feel up to going out tonight. I have something planned for us.” Caleb told me softly as he rubbed my shoulders.

“Do I get to know where we’re going?” I asked him, leaning back into his hands. I suddenly felt tired again.

“Not yet. The dress code is formal.” My husband informed me before leading me towards the bedroom. No, not for that reason. He had me take a nap.

Caleb took me to the restaurant in Newcrest that we had our first official date at. I’m not sure I’ll ever get used to seeing Caleb managing to eat human food after what he told me it tastes like to him. He poured his plasma fruit pack into a fancy goblet.

“I’ve been thinking on baby names.” I started after having a bite of my steak. I was really craving steak for some reason. “I was also wondering….what were your parents’ names?”

For some reason, I had never asked him or Lilith. Though they had never supplied the information. I’ve haven’t gotten the vibe that they had a bad relationship with their parents.

Caleb looked at me a bit before smiling slightly. “I suppose I have not really said much on my family, outside of Lilith and Mother’s chair in the nursery.” He paused “My Father’s name was Alexander Vatore. Mother’s name was Stella Vatore. Her maiden name was Zhu. Though, Father always called Mother, Este. I always wondered how he came up with it.”

Caleb seemed to get lost in memories for a few minutes. I let him. Sometimes, it’s good to remember those you lost. Even if it hurts sometimes. We continued to eat as I thought about what he told me.

I devoured my dessert, I think I may have shocked my husband a bit.

“You know, I really like that name. Este. Alexander is lovely too.” I commented, eyeing his dessert too.

Caleb nodded his head and switched our plates so I could have his dessert too. “We have time to decide.”

By the time Caleb asked me to dance, I was stuffed and sleepy. I always enjoy dancing with my husband. I love the way he looks at me and holds me. It makes me feel special. It makes me feel loved.

We arrived home a bit ago, now I’m awake and ready to celebrate our first Valentine’s Day as a married couple in a very traditional way.

Love Yourself 💗 hearts & more hearts

💌 my first set of custom content for the Sims 4 in a long while. I started these hearts in April, can you believe it, and then life just went crazy. but I decided that the season of love was the perfect timing to get these hearts finished and remind you all self-care and self-love is sexy.

💜 the set contains the famous heart shaped candies in multiple options (wall hanging, standing and lying) to decorate to your hearts content. as originally inspired by an amazing DIY done by Tay BeepBoop Nakamoto.

💙 I didn't add my normal Dew colours to this, but only the candy like pastel ones. each colour comes in 3 options as well: solid, engraved text and painted on text. as I personally know these from dutch candy which has the text engraved, yet other places seem to opt for painted on text instead. (which would also be an easier DIY)

💚  I also added a set of very vibey heart shaped paintings to spread a loving atmosphere to a space. the frames are an edit of the "Better As A Pair Of Paintings" item from EA, as I've always wished these to be separated and also hanging on the wall. so I also added the original EA swatches to these frames, and restored the ones they put in the shade. 

💕 I did add a fun extra piece with the same colours as well as stone colours, that you can use as garden stepping stones for your sims gardens or wedding venues.
