Hey!! Do you have any tips for taking indoor photos everything I tried the light always looks terrible.. Thanks!!

Hello, I occasionally also struggle with the indoor lighting looking good which is why a lot of my photos are taken outside. I think it's just the game itself. Here are a few tips you could try though.

Lighting

Turn off overhead lights, since they usually give a yellow cast. If you need the brightness, adjust the light to be a cooler color instead. (click on light - color and intensity)

I get the best lighting and graphics when the weather is set to sunny. You can cheat it easily with MC Command Center.

If you're able to, I would highly encourage you to try out relight. You can basically fake your own lighting, lighting position, and coloring with it.

Angles & Positioning

Face your sim towards the light source (not with it behind them) to avoid dark shadows.

If you can, angle slightly so the light comes from the side, it creates softer depth than direct front lighting. (again, relight would be very helpful with this)

Edit the photo afterward with the program of your choice, adjusting white balance or exposure can make a big difference.

Does Val have a good relationship with her family or do we just never see them all together because they don't live near each other?

Valerie has always been very close with her younger sister, they��ve had a strong bond since childhood, and even now they call each other every few days and visit whenever they can.

With her parents, the relationship is more polite than deeply connected. Her father was a devoted husband but often absent while he was working as a lawyer, and though he’s now retired, that dynamic never really changed. Her mother has always been loving in her own way, but their relationship leans more toward appearances than emotional closeness. These days, they mostly see each other around the holidays since her parents still live in Vermont, where Valerie grew up, while her sister makes the effort to visit her more often.

Will you be bringing back or showing Val’s family again? I loved seeing them in old photos! They look so good!

I absolutely will be incorporating them into her posts/gameplay along with Valerie's best friend Georgia and more friends of hers and also of Rob! I haven't had as much time to play but it's definitely in the plans for the future!

Hii! Just wondering does Val still have a career or did she give it up once she had their daughter?

Hello! Valerie never had a conventional career. After completing her studies in London, she spent much of her time riding and training with horses, and more recently launched her lifestyle brand dedicated to hosting & entertaining, which she has enjoyed building.

Financially, she has been independent since turning 18, when she invested a significant portion of her trust fund into a portfolio of stocks, index funds, and select private equity opportunities accessed through family connections. The returns have allowed her the freedom to focus on projects and interests she finds meaningful rather than pursuing a traditional job.

Since marrying Rob, she has also naturally taken on more of a socialite role, dividing her time between the Hamptons and the city, where appearances at events, fundraisers, and gatherings (that the brownstones often host themselves) are now a regular part of her life.

Yes, absolutely! She's a Scottish Fold named Phoebe. Her traits are curious, clever and affectionate.

hello dear, I wanted to ask if you're maybe planing on updating your resource post? You're huge inspiration of mine, and I love all your work. Recently I decided to restart my (over 440+ GB) mods folder, and my new goal is to keep it under 100. When I saw your mods is only 55GB I got shocked, haha. And besides obviosuly, cleaning it regularly, do you have any other tips? I also spent LOTS of my time in BB mode, decorating etc, and just can't imagine my bb folder being smaller... Your builds are truly gorgeous that's why Im wondering how youre keeping it all so organised and.. small(?)

I don't have any plans of updating my resource page unfortunately.

My build/buy folder is 40.3gb so those items take up the most space in my mods folder. I no longer have a lot of cas cc since I generally do not keep any files that I cannot see myself using in the near future. While I am maxis mix, about 70% of my build/buy folder is maxis match and those objects are almost always a much smaller size than alpha items. A tip I have is to go through every new set you download right after and only keep the items that you really want, that'll save you so much time.

Sure! Her little sister is about 17 years old now so I made her a teen. The puppy was originally supposed to be Valerie's but I gave her a cat instead so it now belongs to her family since their previous dog just passed away in my gp save.

I was kind of shocked when you stopped playing with dahlia, she was in billboard overrides, covers and on others simmers post, it seem like you were so attached to her then she just disappeared.. 

I played with Dahlia for about a year and loved her, but I wasn’t inspired by her story anymore. It’s okay to move on from a sim when you’re craving something new, and for me that’s where Valerie came in. I wanted something fresh that felt closer to my own style.
