BAILARINA TOP | WIP

As the "Bailarina Dress" had very nice feedback, I decided to do a new version of it, and in this case, just the top. If I come up with more ideas, I may add other versions as well. I trully liked a lot this dress and now, this top.

This top will have almost all of the original swatches, only excluding the 'Color Combinations'.

In the dress, they only swapped the colors between the top and the skirt, so there's no reason to include them.

But still plenty of options available, with 170 swatches in total.

It is almost finished, but I still have some work left to do. I plan to release it tomorrow (24th May) or, in case of any delay, until Sunday (25th May).

Hey everyone!

Sorry for not updating earlier! I've been so busy with work lately that I hardly had any time to make progress on this set.

But I managed to get the wisteria to work—it now changes colors and states with the seasons. In winter, there will only be bare branches, and at the start of spring, it will appear less leafy and full. I’ve created five variations.

Aside from the wisteria, I also tested how the new pack works so I can implement its functionality (if it makes sense). For small businesses, if you want to sell items—in our case, baked goods—you need to place a special display. When you add products to it, they’re automatically put up for sale, and you can set the price directly through the display. I’ve decided to include a display in this set with that functionality, which will require the newest pack, as well as another version that will be base game compatible. The base game version will work with Get to Work, allowing you to set up a store.

The only difference is that the first version will have built-in glass display cases, while the base game version won’t. This is because if you place the small business display and put decor on top of it, the game will treat it as a sellable item, and customers will buy it.

With that in mind, I won’t be making two versions of the glass cases, so they’ll only be usable with Get to Work stores—or, of course, as decor in a small business alongside the new clutter I’m creating for the next set. I’m currently working on the cabinets for the kitchen set, and hopefully, I can finish the swatches next week so I can upload the set by next weekend.

A career change. It could be a good thing for Robbie. Earlier in the week, Renee messaged him about a new job opening for a forensic scientist company that she is connected to. He has a relevant degree and experience in the medical field from analytical chemistry to toxicology, it all sounded very exciting to him! Robbie mulled over his application, checking he had all the details before finally sending it off.

HAIR Nº 179 | WIP

I’m excited to share my latest creation, a cute bun with a side bang! I absolutely loved how it turned out and hope you all will too.

This hairstyle comes in 119 swatch colors in total; 24 from the EA Color Palette and 95 from my Candy Color Palette; and it has around 3k polygons in LOD 0.

I’m just finishing up the final touches and plan to release this hair tomorrow.

If there are any delays, the earliest it will be available is Sunday, the 5th.

WIP#53

Hey everyone!

I've started working on the next part of the bakery set! I had planned to include more items like these in the previous part, but life got in the way. Now, I can finally focus more on the fun stuff and bring more life to the bakery.

These baked pastries and breads can be placed on the shelves, and I'll also make a version of them on a tray (similar to the Baker's Kitchen set) that will fit onto the trolley. This way, you can customize how filled up the trolley is and choose which baked goods it holds.

I have so many ideas still I hope I can do every one of them! Hope you're all as excited as I am. This was a shorter check-in because fortunately everything is going smoothly as of now but I wanted to show you what I'm working on currently.

Asher: There’s still a lot to do, but it’s coming together, slowly but surely. How’ve you been feeling? [Iris: Not bad. Considering how sick I was with Spencer, this pregnancy is a walk in the park.] Asher: Thank goodness for that.

[Iris: Are you coming back before the holidays?] Asher: Yeah, we’ll be back there in a few days, but remember, we’re spending Harvestfest at Phoenix and Dawn’s this year. Li is gonna be there too, so in a way, it’s like our first holiday with our twins. [Iris: God, they’re due in, what, like eight weeks? Are you terrified yet?]

Asher: Completely. But honestly, we’ve been so busy that it’s kept us distracted from panicking too much. And we’ve been going to some parenting classes while we’re out here, so we’re feeling more confident now, I think. [Iris: You’re gonna do great.] Asher: Thanks. I hope so.

[Iris: Oh, I almost forgot, are you planning to come to Spencer’s birthday party?] Asher: Oh yeah, I’ll be there. [Iris: What about Atlas?] Asher: I’m not sure, you’ll have to ask him. Hold on.

Asher: Hey, Iris needs to talk to you. Atlas: One sec, I’m almost done. Asher: What are you doing? Atlas: Installing the mobile on Sadie’s crib. Asher: Are you sure you’re doing it right? Atlas: [shrugs] Worked on the other one.

Atlas: Hello? [Iris: Hey, I’m planning Spencer’s birthday party, and I need to know if you’ll be there.] Atlas: Oh, um… Is Ezra going?

[Iris: Yes, he is, so if you decide not to go, that’s up to you, but then you’re the one that will have to explain to my daughter why her favorite person in the world won’t go to her birthday party.]

Atlas: No, I’ll go. [Iris: You’re sure?] Atlas: I’m sure. I wouldn’t miss it. [Iris: Okay. Thank you.]

Asher: I’m glad you’re going. Atlas: I can’t avoid him forever, right? Asher: Right.

Asher: How’d your appointment go this morning? Atlas: I don’t know. Virtual sessions always feel weird, but I guess it was okay. I don’t really feel like talking about it. Can we just focus on putting the nursery together? Asher: Sure.
