Omg the new coworker. I just KNOW toji would come home one day, excited for dinner and smell him on you, and you won’t talk about what happened that day cause your in a bad mood cause the guy pissed you off or maybe he kept doing those “technically innocent but also completely unwelcome touches”

ugh the crazy part about this is that toji would KNOW. i feel like he'd not only be able to smell that guy on you, but also smell the discomfort radiating off your body. and after that well... let's just hope toji never gets his claws on that guy...

so yeah when he gets home and smells the guy, he's already pissed tf off. because who is this clown who dares get near you?? doesn't he know that toji exists??? that you already have a man ready to lay down the world at your feet?????

fucking fool.

but if you're upset??? oh don't start he'll actually go feral. you won't even need to say anything and he's sitting down at your feet with narrowed eyes, asking you what the fuck happened.

don't even try brushing him off he's literally the most stubborn asshole you'll ever meet. when you finally spill it, telling him how all you were doing was training the guy but he kept finding excuses to touch you and how uncomfy it made you, toji's claws have tore a hole in your carpet.

he'll try and remain calm but he's really fucking bad at it. you tell him it's fine and to forget about it and he's like "no give me his name, i'll take care of it."

if you're able to convince toji NOT to kill the guy, he will tell you to either call that guy out or report him. if you don't do either of those, toji will in fact take care of it.

so when your coworker is following you out one night after your shift, trying to talk to you as you do your best to brush him off, both of you end up stopping in your tracks when you see the wolf hybrid waiting by the door. you're so speechless when his jade green eyes find yours, mouth agape as he takes two long strides to meet you.

"ready to go?" he asks casually, swinging an arm around your shoulders. you blink at him in confusion, but he looks completely calm, as though this is normal.

"oh..." your coworker sounds a little disappointed, eyeing toji with suspicion. he takes a step back from you, the hand that was reaching for your arm suddenly retracting. "is this your boyfriend?"

"what's it to you?" the wolf sneers in repsonse. the bulky arm around your shoulder tightens, pulling you closer to his body, and all you can do is blink again. your coworker shrinks a little, eyes going wide because toji looks mean. it almost reminds you of the agression he once showed you in that alleyway all those months ago—but it's worse. his teeth are bared, ears pointed and eyes practically glowing with rage. he looks bigger than ever, like he can snap your coworker in half with just his pinky finger (which you're sure, he can). his voice is just barely a rumble. "who the hell are you anyway?"

"oh um—"

"forget it. i don't give a fuck." toji's voice is clipped. you almost shiver at the tone, but then his icy glare goes a little softer as he looks down at you. he isn't smiling, but something in his gaze tells you that he's pretty fucking satisfied. "let's go home."

you bite back a smile as he leads you away, arm still secure around your shoulder.

and toji, well... he just continues staring straight ahead, ribcage thumping because you're literally looking at him with stars in your eyes.

thinking about wolf!toji who when he finally gets comfy w touch and you are all comfy w teasing him and playing w his hair and ears and out of nowhere he nips your arm w his teeth

he’s just as surprised as you are— the action just came out of nowhere and just before he opens his mouth to apologize profusely and retreat into his old ways, terrified of becoming someone you are afraid of, you giggle.

“did you just chomp me to get me to stop? you’re the cutest thing ever!”

and he’s once again reminded of your near foolish fearlessness when it comes to him. how you trust him entirely and would never even fathom him in that angry, mean way he used to embody. no, from the looks on your face you’re just barely restraining yourself from grabbing his cheeks and cooing like a grandmother.

“yeah, and next time ‘m taking a finger with me”

anyways yes i fully believe he would snap his chompers at you the way dogs do... obviously not to hurt but that's just their way of playing yk??? first time he does it he literally goes rigid. you’re being silly, sitting next to him on the couch and poking at his ears without a care in the world. he rolls his eyes at the antics—you seem to enjoy the way his ears flick every time you touch them. he halfheartedly tells you to quit it and yet makes no effort to get you to stop, too busy focusing on your quiet giggles.

and then without any warning, he finds his teeth nipping at your arm. you freeze. he freezes. he knows it wasn't hard enough to draw blood but it appalls him that he even bared his fangs at you in the first place. the guilt that washes over him is almost dizzying, intensified by a strange sense of fear. that's it—he's now exposed himself as the uncontrollable animal he's always been. you'll see it now, just how dangerous and scary he is.

he's waiting for your anger with bated breath, but all he hears is a chime of laughter. he glances at you, and finds the most amused grin he's ever seen. "i hope you know that lil chomp is not stopping me."

he blanches. "that... it didn't hurt?"

you raise a brow. "of course not. it basically felt like a tickle."

toji's head spins. the way you catch him off guard is scary. he always needs to backtrack and remember that you don't view him through that lense—that to you he's nothing more than an overgrown puppy. which, to him, is extremely ridiculous. but only someone as naive as you could stare at a wolf hybrid who has known nothing but violence and say that his teeth are nothing but a tickle. you are so stupidly compassionate, sweet in a way that warms his tongue—addicting and vice-like.

"you know these teeth have bitten off literal flesh, right?" he questions. you grin, eyes crinkling in a strangely familiar way.

"so? not like they'd do anything to me." your smile is blindingly smug, and toji's shoulders relax. once again, you are too trusting. it infuriates him—how correct you are. there is a pulse against his ribcage that seems to steadily speed up the longer he looks at you. so frustrating.

you reach up and jab your pointer finger into his cheek, and he doesn't think twice before trying to snap at it. your laughter echoes through his ears as you pull your hand away quickly, and the wry grin on his face seems all too natural.

"not do anything, huh? careful, next time 'm taking that finger with me."

he's seen his dad walk around with you, the terrifying guard dog on high alert as his green eyes glare at anything that moves near you. megumi has noticed the way people hesitate to approach you bc of toji, and how toji seems to enjoy that. and soon enough megumi understands why—it's a fantastic way to keep you to himself. so absolutely he's gonna follow in his father's footsteps.

except... he's literally too cute to be intimidating <///3 don’t tell him that tho he’s trying so hard to be a big scary wolf like his dad :((

megumi will get grumpy at anyone who has your attention, glaring over your shoulder as you walk through the supermarket if he notices their eyes on you. especially if it’s a man. what can he say, his dad has raised him well. it just…doesn’t usually have the desired effect. most of the time he’s met with soft coos and squeals when he tries to mimic his dad’s aggressive behavior.

tee hee yes it doessss !! toji's very subtle about it now, but it becomes more frequent once he gets comfy and actually starts falling for you !! there are a few moments in the past chapters where he will notice his tail slowly going back and forth, but refuses to acknowledge it bc wtf??? curse his animal body for betraying him like this.

but in the near future, he will allow himself the freedom to let it wag. especially if you're both joking around or he's trying to push your buttons, you bet he's subconciously doing it. it's just a sign that he's truly letting loose around you :(((

help i’m imagining the first time you scratch wolf toji’s ears. I think it’d take some time to get there, easing gently into being in each other’s personal space and then even more time to be comfortable with being comfortable with casual, constant physical touch, like sitting next one another on the couch.

but somehow, some day, your hand is resting near or on his head during a movie or show. and almost instinctually, without realizing it, you’re gently drawing your fingers back and forth, lazily playing with the furry lil ears atop his head. would he freeze? melt? the internal confusion and conflicting feelings of being touched in a place that’s vulnerable to him, but wanting more— he’s just going nuts beneath your petting and you don’t even have a clue bc you’re so comfortable in is presence!!

wolf!toji is very reserved already. like i said in the other ask, i don't think he enjoys physical touch as much, and it takes a lot of time for him to get used to the idea that you don't have any bad intentions. even though he trusts you completely, letting you touch him in places that are so vulnerable is difficult. but casually, slowly, he starts opening up to it.

he also finds it very easy to let himself touch you??? like the very simple hand on your back as he squeezes behind you to reach the fridge. or the occasional ruffle of your hair in between his claws. as he starts becoming more comfortable with that i think he'll simultaneously open up to you touching him too.

he realizes how much he enjoys the feeling, but refuses to comment on it. even just the simple act of you almost dozing off against his shoulder has his head spinning.

so the day your fingers do accidentally wander, he swears he feels his brain short-circuit. it's so casual too—he doubts you even know you're doing it. he has gotten used to your hands in his hair by now, but this is new. you're so deeply engrossed in the movie you're watching, fingers absentmindedly tracing over the softer fur lining his ears.

your touch is so gentle, so caring—it takes him a second to realize that it feels good.

he just sits there, claws digging into the rug as he stares straight ahead with his teeth grit. the movie is playing but he doesn't know what's happening in it, too busy practically preening under your light touches.

his shoulders relax, his eyes feel heavier. it feels so natural it scares him a little bit.

he wants you to stop.
