Last-Minute Looks for Garden Party

Described as the “premiere event in Wilmington,” we've been anxiously awaiting this Friday’s annual Azalea Festival Garden Party!  Revelers flock to Airlie Gardens for this annual kick-off to the social season decked out in their very best spring fashions.  It was the perfect opportunity to ask our ‘scouted’ stylist, Kelly Hillegass of Kelly Hillegass Styling to pull together her favorite looks from TSG Wilmington member boutiques!  If you’re still looking for that perfect Garden Party outfit, we’ve got you covered.  Don’t forget to tell ‘em SCOUT sent you!

LOOK #1: FLORAL & FLIRTY

Kelly’s Take: “Feminine and chic this dress from Zia Boutique (#3) cinches in just the right spot for a lovely silhouette. Although there is nothing unexpected about florals for spring and Garden Party, the pop of red and graphic flowers layered on the stripped neutral background feel new and elevated.”

“These shoes (#4) are must-buys for spring. Easy to walk in with a chunky heel and multiple straps.  Neutral tones and natural textures are huge for spring, and the big buckle adds an extra cool feel.”

Kelly’s Take: “This laser-cut, Victorian-style mini poplin dress from Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini is romantic and pairs well with a chunky open-toe heel."

"You could also pull major cool, fashion girl vibes by pairing it with cowboy boots to ensure optimal comfort while strolling around the gardens. Cowboy boots were seen all over NYFW, and are a fun way to balance a very girly look.  Hey, we are in the South after all!”

LOOK #4: The Relaxed Bohemian
