It was my extreme pleasure to tattoo this crawling Pink Panther morph on the extremely cool Dan Rivera earlier this week. This drawing has been stuck on my wall of wannados and traveled to conventions with me since 2016! It is quite clear to me after tattooing it though that it was made for Dan all along. Crystal Ball from last year on one of the Black Labyrinth’s VIPs, Genesis. Elbows are a kinda brutal spot to get tattooed, so having a little extra magic there sure can’t hurt (well... that’s not ENTIRELY true). Thanks again Genesis for being a tuff & dedicated collector!

Was thrilled when Emily asked me to do this tripped out tribute to The Flatbush Zombies. The Glorious Dead have easily ascended to the absolute top of my rotation over the past several years - their new material keeps getting more interesting, faceted & mature - but I still find myself bumping Vacation In Hell on a nearly daily basis. This tattoo is explicitly inspired by the track “Crown” off that album. Thanks again Emily for the goddamn home run tattoo project & frankly, for suggesting I check out Flatbush many years & tattoos ago.

Made a cosmic constellation out of the molecular structure of THC-A for Nathan - this is after we did a beauty pass after it settled for a year. This was Nathan’s first tattoo!! Thank you for asking me to do such a cool concept for you as the start of your collection!

Sometimes maybe you sit on a project for too long. Thank you Caroline, one of my dearest & most dedicated clients, for your trust with this folk floral insanity that was definitely something of a leap of faith for both of us to endeavor. We were working on tying all of this up this past week, but I thought it was past due to give this piece some shine.

Thank you Rae for your dedication & patience while we chipped away at this Aquarian woman project. We started it over 3 years ago & then after a long break, finally got back into things here at The Labyrinth. I always enjoy tattooing cloaked figures, and am particularly pleased with how the Zodiac-inspired star map encapsulates her like a halo. Astrological with a lil’ nod to traditional religious iconography. As always, the cosmic, occult, & esoteric stuffs is my favs.

This was an 100% hand drawn “mandala” of sorts. Doing these types of symmetrical designs the old & slow way is very meditative and cathartic in a way. This one was perhaps inspired by much of the sorrow I feel for the world & so many of its people today. My hope is that it’s manifestation can lead to transforming even the smallest part of that sorrow into someone else’s joy.

In happier news, we are eagerly awaiting a date for tattoo studios to reopen in Mass. Suffice to say, reschedules have me backed up into the early fall, but when my schedule opens back up I would love to prioritize tattooing more of these types of colorful, esoteric designs.
