Opening Commissions: November 2020

Hi guys! Not sure if people will see this but I hope it comes across your dash.  As people might’ve already known, I live in the Philippines. (Yes, a tragedy and a half lmao) Since March, we’ve had the longest lockdown in the world resulting to job losses, LOTS of human rights violation, hunger and extreme poverty.  The fact that I’m able to write this means I’m still lucky. However, just a week ago, and two nights ago, we were hit by the largest and strongest storms in the world. I live just outside Metro Manila and near a river, so yes, we were flooded. Just finished cleaning a while ago. But again, I’m writing this, so I’m still fine.  I’m opening commissions for my fellow countrymen living in Cagayan and Tuguegarao. Whole towns are underwater, people have drowned, and many people are homeless. They need supplies - food, clothes, clean water, and financial resources to start again. Donor fatigue is setting in in my country. We’ve been pulling our government’s damn weight for too long. So here I am. 

I’m opening commissions for Naruto (Sakura-centric/ Sakura ships) fics! Please let me know if y’all interested, if not, a reblog will be greatly appreciated!  My main works are here: infinite universes, and picking up series. More details under the cut! 

COMMISSION DETAILS!  I am open to writing ANY Sakura ships, but my main ships are KakaSaku and TobiSaku. You may request: 1. A continuation of any chapter from infinite universes! 2. A Oneshot  How long will the stories be? It’s up to you! 1. A Snacc (300-500 words) - $10 - $15  - 3 slots open  2. A Pre-Meal (600-800 words) - $18 - $30 - 3 slots open 3. A Filling Meal (900-1000 words) - $35 - $50  - 2 slots open  4. Restaurant Meals (1100 - 3000 words) - $55 - $80 - 1 slot open 

What will this buy?

To help you visualize how big any of these commissions will be, $1 is equal to roughly PHP50. PHP50 can buy 1kg of rice, 2 canned goods. Which means, A Snacc ($15 = PHP750) can buy at least 10kgs of rice, 10 canned goods, fresh vegetable packs, hygiene kit for a family of 5, 24 500ml bottles of water. 

Who will these go to?

Frankly, I don’t trust most gov’t associations. When I donate, I usually buy the products myself, repackage it and drop it off to a trusted non-profit organization.  For this, they’ll be going to the victims in Cagayan, Tuguegarao, and Marikina. Given the distance of Cagayan and Tuguegarao (they’re in a completely different group of islands) the donations will be wired via mobile apps while the donation for Marikina will be in-kind. 

Until when can I commission? How?

Until the slots run out! We’ll be discussing your desired content via chat/email after the fee’s been wired. The timeline will also be discussed but for Snaccs and Pre-Meals, they can be expected to be given within a week. 

How can I make sure you’re legit?

I’ll be using my personal PayPal account. I can also send a picture of me/ my school ID. Whatever will keep your mind at peace (I’ll even do the shoe on my head pic if you want.)  If you’ve reached this point, thank you! you can unfollow me for speaking out about the issues in my country, but i beg of you please don't turn a blind eye. try to help through donations or raise awareness by reblogging. if you can use your voice to stand up for blm, lgbtq+ rights, gender equality, and other issues, then im pretty sure you can also do so to inform people about the sufferings of many Filipinos. two typhoons hit our country and people are drowning. the government does not care for our people. like how can they sleep so peacefully in their own beds knowing people, babies, senior citizens, children, women... they're all losing their lives. we're doing our best to send money and personally volunteer rescue teams to help them, but it's not enough. volunteers are also losing their lives in the flood (which has submerged a whole city i shit you not) from drowning electrocution because of grounded water. the pain is too much to bear. i cant go to sleep or even go about my day without thinking of these people who deserve so much better. so please tumblr i ask of you to please help raise awareness about this. its the least you can do to help our country.

I do not understand how some of our politicians can sleep well at night knowing that there are people dying because of the flood and more importantly, knowing that they can do something to help these people. In fact, it ‘s not can; they should be doing something but they are not!!!

Im not expecting so much from our government officials, just the bare minimum, at least what is required by their jobs; but even that, nothing. People are dying and all you will hear, worst from our president even, are useless drama and empty promises, when what this country needs are actions!! SUBSTANTIAL ACTIONS. This PH government kept relying on private individuals and companies to do what they should be doing. It is so frustrating. Why are we even paying our taxes in the first place when we can’t even rely on the government when we need it the most.

Corruption, appointing law-breaking individuals to position, useless and unnecesaary drama, elitist attitude and many more, FINE, i can let those go for now; BUT THE NEGLECT FOR LIFE????? These government officials disgust me. THEY DISGUST ME. I do not know if they are just a bunch of lazy individuals or just a bunch of people who do not care whether there are people dying or not. A life and death situation, yet these government officials do not care. WOW JUST WOW. This is one of the very few times they can make up for their shortcomings, yet nothing. I do not understand where this mindset is coming from; considering that these are educated individuals who graduated from top universities in the country; and some, even abroad.

Don’t not get me wrong, im not referring to all Filipino government officials. There are still some that do way beyond what is expected of them; and for their service, I will always be thankful. They have my respect.

And for those fucking politicians who pretend to do something and are not doing anything at all, YOU DISGUST ME, BIG SHAME ON YOU. see you next election.
