New pens! I'm gunna gab about new pens! I've been using faber-castell pens for a while, specifically the brush ones. They get worn down really quick and lose the fine point. I started finally using a dip pen a while back so I havn't needed the brush pens since, but I was kinda missing the simplicity of having a nice pen to play around with mess free. So I caved and got some micron pens for once. I see people use them all the time and swear by them, but I had only used some really tiny ones before that didn't fit anything I was doing. Had no idea they had brush ones too but this Graphic 1 pen has been a lot of fun especially. I also picked up some turquoise lead. I have some 'copy-not' non-photo blue pencils but they're pretty worn out and I feel like I have to press down a little too hard to get the definition I want. Either way this new leads been nice and smooth, but a lot harder to erase. Guess it doesn't matter too much for scanning. Also an Ames Lettering Guide. Only thing that fits the holes is some tiny lead from a mechanical pencil, which snaps off pretty quickly, but it is pretty handy.
