TMSOURCE SECRET SANTA 2021

It’s that merry time of the year and tmsource is celebrating by hosting its very own Secret Santa Gift Exchange! All Mentalist fans are welcome to exchange gifts which can be anything from gifsets, fanart, fanfiction, playlists, graphics, fanmade videos and moodboards. Let’s warm up the fandom with some holiday cheer!

HOW IT WORKS

For those who are not familiar with how gift exchanges work, the basic concept is that you will be assigned with making a gift for another person among the participants. Likewise, someone else will be assigned with making a gift for you. In a Secret Santa gift exchange, the person who’s making a gift for you, or in other words, your “Secret Santa”, cannot be revealed until the actual gift exchange starts.

PARTICIPATION

To participate simply send a ‘🎅’ to our askbox and we’ll mark down your url. Applications will be accepted until the 23rd of November. Afterwards, on the 24th of November, each '🎅’ ask will be answered with a link to an online website where you can draw the url/name of the person you’ll be making a gift for! Remember to check your asks and mark the date if possible, so that you don’t miss our reply.

MAKING THE GIFT

The gift can be of any type listed above and also, any length. It doesn’t have to center on the holiday season, but of course, it should be Mentalist-related. There is no rule that can shape creativity, just put your heart into it and give it your best. You may also anonymously ask the person you’re making a gift for what their preferences are, if they would like to offer any fanfic and fanart prompts, etc. Make sure you are on anonymous as you don’t want to spoil your identity! (In retrospective, consider keeping your anonymous asks open in case your own Secret Santa would like to message you.)

POSTING

Gifts can be posted between December 24th and December 31st on your respective blogs. Make sure to tag the person you made the gift for and use the tags #tmsecretsanta2021 and #tmsource so that we can reblog it here as well!

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND

🎅 You must not reveal whose “Secret Santa” you are, until you post their gift.

🎅 This gift exchange is limited to tumblr only, which means no physical gifts. If an anon asks for your real address to send you a gift related to this event, we cannot guarantee that they are legit, so be careful about where you put your trust.
