I'm also super happy with the Sasuke and Itachi clear files, although I keep complaining that I need to stop hoarding those! It's hard to stop when it's my favorite characters, in outfits I'll never get to see them in, otherwise. Lol! Also got my first Sebastian Michaelis merch in what seems like an eternity. I don't know if I should be worried, or super happy that we have new Black Butler stuff. DX I got two tiny plastic model kits, but this time I have the full intention to build one. So I got two of the same, also because the black ones were the only ones left in stock. It seems the other colors are now available again. So, if I can afford to, I will get as many of these as I can. They are pretty adorable, and inexpensive. I want to actually try building some, not just hoard because they look adorable in their tiny packaging! (:

Escaflowne Voice Meme

01. Introduce yourself! When did you first watch Escaflowne? What brought you into the fold?

I already shared part of my experience in this post, so I'm gonna expand on that.

I was young and naive and in Junior High. There was an open tv channel that broadcasted anime shows all evening. One of them was Escaflowne, and I liked it, I mean, it's medieval! With robots! And swords! And the robots wear capes! But I wasn't a fan.

I saw the movie until I was in college and I loved it.

Years later, I always attempted to watch the series, because I thought I never watched it complete (and I never passed from the first episode in those tries). In 2021 I finally watched the entire series again… I didn't remember a thing hahaha and I discovered that I had actually seen it completely before because the only things I recalled were the "Aoi Hitomi" song and that Dilandau was a woman (and I spent the entire time looking for the womanly clues on Dilandau, with no success).

But you know, I really really loved the movie but I forgot how much I did it, it took some effort on my part to remember… hell, I even had magazine clippings in my room (still there) and used to draw Van and Hitomi, but all that is still lost in my mind and from the world (I rescued a drawing, not the great thing).

So here I am.

I already had a tumblr account but I guess due to inactivity I couldn't use the tags, so I better started anew.

02. Who is your favorite character and why? Was it love at first sight? Has any of their qualities or quirks swayed you on characters in other series?

Van. The guy grew on me after my second watch, it's easy to sympathise with him.

03. Which side are you on? What do you think happens Post-Hitomi when she leaves? Who do you think will be the next opposing power?

This is fanfic area, but I think Basram would get everyone in trouble if not kept in check. Zaibach could resurface years later, too. Or, you know, Hitomi returns and starts a fight :P

04. Least favorite plot point? Was there something you think should have changed? What do you think would have made it better.

I found Millerna and Dryden's love story boring (because there's none?). Van's wings are too corny (lol) What's up with Varie? I'd have liked to see more about the war. Escaflowne's customer service was ridiculous hahaha I had to pause when Folken performed the "let's make Hitomi and Allen a couple" mission.

Movie: I wanted to know more about... everything.

05. OTP? What kind of art and fiction would you like to see? What are some head canons you have for them? What is you NoTP?

Every question is like 10 questions lol This one is pretty obvious: Hitomi x Van of course. If you drop Folken in there I won't mind (not sure if Van or Hitomi would agree though). I like to read so I find fanfics very entertaining and comfy. I like art too so fanarts are welcome. Alright my headcanon is… Hitomi comes back to Gaea, finds her place in there, marries Van of course, and the whole planet is in peace.

NoTP: Van and Dilandau. Van/Hitomi x OC (unless you convince me).

06. What would you like to see in a figurative remake/sequel? Would you include more minor characters? Would you want a whole new story that could be a stand alone?

I've lived long enough to see failed sequels shit on a perfect story so I'd go for standalone story or a backstory, like Goau's life, Varie's story, Moleman's, Leon's adventures, and so on.

07. Movie, Series, Game, or Manga preference? What are things you did/didnt like of each?

I love the movie, I love everything about it except for it to be so short, unable to expand on the new universe they built.

The series is great, we'll always wonder what would Escaflowne be if only they got all the episodes they needed and didn't have to pack everything in 26 episodes. A monumental work.

Everything else is meh to me. I've read both mangas and watched the extra scenes of the videogame. I haven't read the LNs for obvious reasons.

08. Do your favorite impression! Bonus points if you can do a conversation with a scene cut in!

09. What do you think about the idea of a re-dub? What are your feelings about the current cast selection for Van (and others if more are introduced)?

I haven't seen the english dub but I've seen the latino one. I wouldn't mind a re-dub, even if I feel that nowadays actors lack heart. Van's VA, Jesús Becerro, died some years ago so I'd prefer to watch it like it is for nostalgia's sake.

As for the japanese cast… it's perfect, period.

I love Maaya Sakamoto's voice (Hitomi), a shame I don't like her music. Tomokazu Seki (Van) surprised me, he's also Kougami's VA in Psycho-Pass (I love his voice in PP) and I didn't notice until certain line he said reminded me of some other character (Gilgamesh).

Monday Night Raw (6/19):

Kayden Carter & Katana Chance defeated Sonya Deville & Chelsea Green. Katana pinned Sonya after hitting the Afterparty. match length-2:01.

WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley was set to take on Natalya in a non-title match, but Rhea attacked Natalya before the match could begin.

In a backstage interview, Raquel Rodriguez was being interviewed ahead of her Money in the Bank qualifying match. Raquel said that she would win the contract and cash in on Rhea Ripley, before being interrupted by Rhea coming backstage through the curtain. The two stared each other down, before Raquel made her entrance.

Trish Stratus defeated Raquel Rodriguez by disqualification to qualify for the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Trish won after Becky Lynch came out and attacked Zoey Stark, and in the chaos also attacked Trish, resulting in the DQ finish. match length-5:55.

NXT Gold Rush part 1 (6/20):

There was a video package of Gigi Dolin, followed by Kiana James talking trash about Gigi. Kiana called Gigi mediocre, and said that she is fueled by winning.

Duke Hudson hosted a pep rally to celebrate Thea Hail becoming the number one contender for the NXT Women's Championship. Thea was interrupted by NXT Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton, who called Thea dumb and crazy. Thea got Tiffany in the Kimura Lock, before Tiffany escaped the ring, and Thea stood tall with the title in her hand.

Cora Jade defeated Dana Brooke by referee stoppage. At one point, medical officials tried to remove Dana from the ring after her knee buckled, but she got off of the stretcher and re-entered the ring. Cora locked in a Single Leg Crab, and the official made the decision to call for the bell. match length-10:46.

Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson defeated Yulisa Leon & Valentina Feroz. During the match, Elektra Lopez and Lola Vice came out and watched from the ramp. Lash Legend scored the pinfall win with a pump kick. match length-3:22.

A match between Gigi Dolin and Kiana James was announced for week two of NXT Gold Rush.

AEW Dynamite (6/21):

Kris Statlander defeated Taya Valkyrie to retain the TBS Championship. Kris landed Big Bang Theory to get the win, and successfully defend the TBS Championship once again. match length-8:55.

WWE Main Event (6/22):

Dana Brooke defeated Xia Li. Dana pinned Xia after hitting a somersault neckbreaker. match length-5:07.

Friday Night SmackDown (6/23)

Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler (WWE) defeated Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn (NXT) to become the new Unified WWE Women's Tag Team Champions. The match ended with Ronda locking in an armbar and forcing Isla to tap out, while Shayna submitted Alba with the Kirifuda Clutch at the same time. match length-10:22.

After the match, Ronda and Shayna were confronted by Raquel Rodriguez, who said that she wanted a rematch for the titles that she had been forced to vacate. Raquel was then joined by a returning Liv Morgan, who has been out of action since the May 12 episode of SmackDown when she suffered a shoulder injury.

Charlotte Flair defeated Lacey Evans. Charlotte hit Lacey with a big boot, before she submitted her with the Figure 8. match length-2:43.

After the match, Charlotte stayed in the bridge and held Lacey in the figure 8. Charlotte was then attacked by WWE Women's Champion Asuka.

WWE official Adam Pearce told Bianca Belair that she would be barred from ringside for the WWE Women's Championship match next week on SmackDown, in order to prevent her from getting involved.

NXT Level Up (6/23):

Jacy Jeyne defeated Ivy Nile. match length-5:19.

AEW Rampage (6/23):

Women’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament first round: Skye Blue defeated Anna Jay A.S. Skye defeated Anna after hitting Code Blue, picking up her second win in a row in her hometown of Chicago. She will face the winner of Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. vs. Ruby Soho (which takes place on the June 28 episode of Dynamite). match length-8:17.

AEW Collision (6/24):

Women’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament first round: Willow Nightingale defeated Nyla Rose. Willow pinned Nyla after hitting the Doctor Bomb. She will face the winner of Athena vs. Billie Starkz (which takes place at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door: Zero Hour). match length-8:54.

AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door (6/25): Disclaimer: I didn't actually watch Forbidden Door, but I got updates and results from the internet, as well as a friend of mine who was watching.

Women’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament first round: Athena defeated Billie Starkz. Athena pinned Billie after hitting a fireman's carry into a spinning double knees to the face. In addition to competing in AEW, Athena is currently the Ring of Honor Women's World Champion. She will face NJPW Strong Women's Champion Willow Nightingale in the semi-finals. match length-7:50.

AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm defeated. Willow Nightingale to retain the AEW Women’s World Championship. Toni was aided by the rest of The Outcasts, Ruby Soho and Saraya, in the opening of the match, but the duo were eventually ejected from ringside. Toni ultimately was able to get the pinfall win over Willow, after racking the eyes of her challenger and following it up with Storm Zero. match length-10:30.

Other news & updates from last week:

On The Pat Mcafee Show on Tuesday, June 20, Paul Heyman announced that WWE Fastlane will be held on Saturday, October 7 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Fastlane takes the October Premium Live Event spot that was held by Extreme Rules last year. This will be the first Fastlane event since 2021. Prior to that year, Fastlane was held annually from 2015 until 2019, with the 2017 and 2018 events being exclusive to Raw and SmackDown, respectively.

There is a press conference planned for directly after Money in the Bank this weekend. WWE have not held a post show press conference since WrestleMania, as the media events for Backlash and Night of Champions were both held the day before the show.

In the hours leading up to SmackDown on June 23, fans on Twitter pointed out the the match between Bayley and Shotzi for Bayley’s Money in the Bank ladder match spot had been removed from previews for the show. This match did not end up taking place on SmackDown, and was replaced by Charlotte Flair vs. Lacey Evans. It's unclear why Bayley vs. Shotzi was scrapped, but Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful did note on Twitter that Smackdown got "Vinced" tonight, saying that a lot of changes had been made.

Liv Morgan made her return on the June 23, 2023 episode of SmackDown. Liv had been out of action due to a torn shoulder, and recovered much faster than had originally been expected.

During the Women's Tag Team Title unification match on SmackDown last Friday, Michael Cole stated that the Women's Tag Team Championships will now be defended on all three brands, which was the original intention for the titles when they were created.

Speaking of the unification match, shortly after SmackDown ended last week, the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship was officially listed as "retired" on the WWE website. Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn are officially listed as the final NXT Women's Tag Team Champions, with their reign lasting 83 days.

On last week’s edition of The SmackDown Lowdown, it was announced that Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler will defend the Undisputed Women’s Tag Team titles against former champions Raquel Rodriguez & Liv Morgan.

At Stardom Sunshine on June 25, Giulia (who is currently one-third of the reigning Artist of Stardom Champions), called out NJPW Strong Women’s Champion Willow Nightingale and issued a challenge for the title.

Following her match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on Sunday, June 25, the NJPW official Twitter account posted a video of NJPW Strong Women's Champion Willow Nightingale, who accepted Giulia's challenge. It is currently unclear when this match will take place.

It was officially announced on Sunday, June 25 that AEW All Out will be held on Sunday, September 3 at the United Center in Chicago. The pay-per-view will take place just one week after AEW All In, which is on Sunday, August 27 in London.

Things to look forward to this week:

This Monday, June 26 on Monday Night Raw, a women's Money in the Bank summit will be held.

This Tuesday, June 27, NXT Gold Rush continues. After winning a number one contender battle royal a few weeks ago, 19 year old Thea Hail challenges NXT Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton for the title. This will be Thea's very first opportunity at a title in her professional wrestling career.

Also this Tuesday at NXT Gold Rush, Gigi Dolin goes one-on-one with Kiana James.

This Wednesday, June 28 on AEW Dynamite, Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. takes on Ruby Soho of The Outcasts in the final first round match of the Women's Owen Hart Cup Tournament.

This Friday, June 30 on SmackDown live from London, WWE Women's Champion Asuka defends the title against 14 time world champion Charlotte Flair.

This Saturday, July 1 live from the O2 Arena in London, it's WWE Money in the Bank. The show will have a special start time of 3 pm Eastern time.

BANG BANG: muse 04 fez um trio com Any e muse 03, em uma música que já faz anos do lançamento, mas até hoje é tocadas nas festas e ainda pedem que elas se reúnam novamente para cantar juntas de novo, mas nunca aconteceu. nesse plot, a muse 04 pode adorar ou detestar que fiquem revivendo esse feat.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST: muse 05 ( hunter sears ) é o cantor que fez o dueto com ela para o live action do filme A Bela e a Fera. @huntsearsnod . 

DON’T CALL ME ANGEL: da saga “feats improváveis”, muse 06 ( fahriye osbourne ) e muse 07 ( talia de leon ) se juntaram à Any, escreveram a canção para o filme, gravaram o vídeo clipe e... não foi como esperavam. não foi um flop total, mas não alcançaram o bilhão de visualizações que pretendiam. não vieram outros feats, no entanto, se tornaram amigas. @miserybizz @taliasfm . 

DEFYING GRAVITY: muse 08 vai ser a Elphaba no filme de Wicked, e ela pode tanto adorar quando odiar estar trabalhando com Any.

DANCE TO THIS: jude choi e anissa trocavam elogios um ao outro em entrevistas e na internet, até que o feat veio aí! pode não ter sido a música mais bombada da carreira deles, mas ficou no coração dos fãs, que continuam a pedir um outro feat no mesmo estilo. ainda não veio aí, mas a amizade continua até hoje. @jxdeil .

(o motivo da mídia ter rivalizado elas pode ser porque namoraram o mesmo cara, ou porque lançaram música na mesma época, algo bem bobo)

BUT HE WASN’T A MATCH: muse 12 ( william bonantos ) é mais velho e completamente fora do círculo social de Any. no entanto, os dois se conheceram num evento, começaram a se envolver e namoraram por poucos meses. eram bons juntos, mas só na cama. não se davam bem em muitas outras questões. ainda assim, até hoje, em segredo, eles acabam acordando na cama do outro quando se encontram. @willbonantos .

Dopo la grande inaugurazione e il primo party targato BigMama, l'estate 2024 di Praja - Gallipoli (Lecce) entra decisamente nel vivo. Sono stati da poco annunciati tutti i party di luglio 2024. Tanti eventi, tutti molto attesi, per un'estate incandescente, a cui si aggiunge quello scatenato di Ferragosto con sua maestà Bob Sinclar, chiamato anche "Le Roi del Salento", ovvero il re del Salento….

Ma che succede a luglio 2024? Al top club di Gallipoli i party si susseguono dunque senza soluzione di continuità. 7 notti su 7, da lunedì alla domenica, come succede, in Italia, tra le grandi discoteche, solo alla Praja e come succede nel mondo solo nei top club di Ibiza. 7 notti su 7 anche a luglio alla Praja - Gallipoli non è uno slogan, è la realtà: lo staff e gli artisti di Musicaeparole riposano solo i primi due martedì di luglio '24: il 2 ed il 9 luglio.

Quest'ultima realtà è una delle più consolidate nell'ambito del clubbing e dell'organizzazione eventi in Europa.

Ospiti internazionali, un nuovo show pazzesco e l'atmosfera incandescente di Gallipoli. Sueño que me sumerjo en el inmenso mar, me encontraba frente a una playa … se anunciaba una tormenta … de pronto me sumerjo y siento algo entre la penumbra, pienso en un monstruo marino, pero de pronto aparece una inmensa ballena, lleva a sus crías y hay muchas más … escucho sus cantos, siento que floto en la inmensidad azul y oscura y giro sobre mi, me dejo ir … de pronto me veo chocando sobre un techo blanco… como flotando y topando con el plafón … y pienso “me desprendí”… trato de girar esperando ver mi cuerpo dormido en la cama… pero no lo logro es como si un vibrar y onda me llevaran a un lugar estático, volví abajo… veo un hueco en el plafón observo algo del otro lado asomándose … me acerco e introduzco al pequeño hueco… es un lobo que me habla sabiamente, no recuerdo que dice, pero parece tener una caja o cobija junto a él, me alejo nuevamente y veo por el hueco una manada inmensa de animales ?Leones o ñus?, empiezo a elevarme sobre un vecindario, veo antenas de tv… veo la manada andar sobre los tejados … es inmensa … comienzo a escuchar unas palabras de una voz algo extraña… robótica … no entiendo al principio lo que dice así que pongo mayor atención: “déjame encontrar la inmensa sabiduría que sé que alberga mi cuerpo… porque llegue!” (Parafraseando tal vez) despierto sintiendo una vibración muy fuerte en todo mi cuerpo …

Ayer salí a beber con dos buenos seres que quiero, amigos de antaño, platicamos abiertamente de varias cosas del pasado y de otros seres que hemos amado, querido o no querido en absoluto… tomé 5 cervezas… llegué cansada a casa, dado que suelo ya no beber… y dormí temprano, toda la noche no encontré mi lugar en la cama
