I understand being upset over people not enjoying or criticizing a piece of media you personally enjoy, but isn't it wild to tell people not to post their thoughts and criticisms of it where you can see when you're literally on an app that's built for that express purpose? I've seen quite a few posts criticizing people who don't have glowing opinions of TWC3 and yes as someone who personally loves the series and will continue supporting it, it's sometimes difficult to read through scathing criticism of it but people paid real tangible money that they worked for to pay for this product and they're unsatisfied with aspects of it, and while these people didn't enjoy TWC3 they will generally genuinely love the series, the world and the characters and they can be just as open about their thoughts as we are with ours

im really trying to enjoy twc book 3 but im failing miserably. this kinda feels like eating really bland soup after being promised the best sukiyaki this side of the hemisphere.

maybe i’ve just outgrown the dark & broody love interests but adam is reeeeally grinding my gears and the fact that he treats my detective so poorly and she completely forgets about it on the next page makes everything worse lol i wish i had the emotional maturity to completely brush off a silly man that’s been leading me on for months and the memory of a goldfish to forget all the silly shit he puts me through but alas i am the epitome of a petty bitch and atp every time adam stares very longingly at my mc i just want her to flip him off with both hands

book 3 feels veeeeery much like someone tellin a story with beats they know they wanna hit but they're not QUITE sure how they wanna get there? so everything between the two or three mildly interesting bits of story is just filler.

Oh my stars???? Oh my void????! The tenderness? The aching for closeness and touch? How fucking *soft* M becomes with MC as the story progresses?

I'm definitely going to be replaying with Dev and Mason before moving on to F and Riley, because I want to make a few different tweaks. My official "canon" playthrough is with Devyn shy-mancing Mason, Felix is her best friend, and Bobby is her ex (though I do wish Bobby could be a woman while M and F were men, but I digress). Also Verde discovers the supernaturals. I want to do the scene with Tina and Verde though, and choose research instead of combat.

SPEAKING OF THAT COMBAT SCENE THOUGH?????? Mason being prickly and unsure all over again???? And if MC apologizes sincerely for being distracted he deflates and it's so freaking natural feeling that he's reacting to his confusion like this??? [Mason hurt himself in his confusion!]

Guys I'm not going to recover from this. Devyn kept her epiphany about falling in love to herself, but I'm screaming because of Never Have I Ever???? When he takes the shot????? I'm going to puke sweet stars I screamed. They just hold each other so gently in front of everyone and I was kicking my feet.

I have so many thoughts but nothing is coherent right now.

the plot of twc3 may have been mid but I am still thinking of the M route shower scene DAYS later…

esp since I’m playing the M route with a detective who doesn’t want to do anything physical with Morgan unless it means something, so the fact that the very first time Morgan ever sees Siobhan naked, after endless flirting and teasing, is when she’s injured and needing help with the shower? and Morgan doesn’t say a fucking word and instead just climbs into the shower with all of her clothes on to help? falling to my knees and clutching my heart. I might just write an extended scene where Siobhan asks if Morgan will help wash her hair because there’s just so much potential to get even More out of that shower scene.
