MC (yuu), Grim, Ace, Deuce: okay so i love the main character friend group dynamic and in this case it's a trio + an animal-ish companion i am just very obsessed with the one brain cell quartet like what do you mean they were little shits to each other in the beginning and now they have like a found family dynamic 😭

Jamil and Kalim: not as a ship at all but i just find their relationship to be really fascinating and complex??? i think their relationship kind of developed off-screen after book 4 because i think there were signs here and there during book 5 and up to book 7 that there's some kind of development there??? idk i just wanted to see how they're both dealing with all of it 😭 twst pls i am being starved of their dynamic, i demand more bread

Is Irene’s family the same like in your Inuyasha fanfic or different? Idk I just want to see a family reunion years later where Irene visits with her husbands and kids. “Surprise! I know it’s been years but I was transported to another world and had to run an army but our family grew bigger guys! Meet my husband Kaze and his husband Subaki and his husband Henry. And also all our kids!” *cue shock*

Also would love too see how Irene’s husbands reacts to the modern world with its technology since they all come from medieval worlds. Seeing Kaze getting startled from cars and almost throwing a dagger at them would be mighty funny. Henry in the mall sipping a smoothie with crows hanging around him while people take pictures. Subaki looking at planes flying in the sky and thinking how they work and wtf happen to Pegasus. Idk I just want to see them being amazed.

Man the kids are going to have a fun time looking around in their Mama’s world. Seeing some of the kids getting ahold of a computer with being able to search anything seems like something they can be interested in idk. Bet Midori would be curious about the herbs in Irene’s world or even medicines too.

Also what are the sexualities of your poly characters? I know Subaki is bi but are all of them bi too? You don’t have to answer if you don’t want to. Just being curious since I loved that art you posted of our fave four.

Irene is the same OC, yes. Eleanora and Iliana from my twst fics are also basically Irene, just with different names. Keeps things less confusing.

I don’t plan on Irene ever going back to her world- since Alfonse revealing that he’s never heard of a world like hers before is kinda what sets her on the mindset that she’s permanently stuck in Askr and why she agrees to start relationships with Kaze, Subaki, and Henry. Summoner also hasn’t found a way back home in Heroes yet either, so 😅

But Irene’s family would probably murder the guys. She (was) the sickly baby out of her siblings, though now she’s perfectly healthy after dying and being revived by Breidablik.

They would keep the kids because they’re cute and also family, but good lord Irene’s gonna have her work cut out for her trying to convince them NOT to flay the husbands alive. The fam is super protective of her, sisters especially. I feel like Henry would end up being a house husband- while Kaze and Subaki get actual jobs as they’re the only ones with a brain cell. Low key Subaki becomes a model. I can imagine Kaze at a call center though. Maybe he even becomes a teacher. 🥺 That would be so cute.

That being said, I could draw little sketches of the quartet being introduced to stuff in Irene’s worlds. Maybe a little au thing of its own.

As for sexualities- I headcanon Subaki and Henry as bisexual, and Kaze pansexual. Irene is definitely straight, though she’ll admire a pretty woman when she sees one (especially if they’re tall and could carry her in their arms). As much as she likes them, she just can’t view herself in a relationship with a woman.

Midori and Shion would be so excited over all the herbs and flowers- though a bit confused since none of them are magical. Ren and Raymond and Caeldori would be following househusband Henry around when not at school and secretly learning magic from him.

Ah, fun facts! Adult Raymond is a dark mage, Ren a dark flier, and Caeldori a witch. Midori is very much a merchant, while Shion would probably end up as either an Onmyoji Priestess or a Pegasus Knight. I haven’t really decided yet.

As future kids, in their alternative timelines, Ren and Raymond had to take on the mantle as summoner since their Irene’s died. Ren was the only survivor thanks to Alfonse saving him, and Raymond and Caeldori the only survivors in theirs through sheer force of will.

I’ve roomed with siblings my whole life (at least up until college) so i think i totally could be roommates with Deuce! idk he gives little brother vibes despite being an only child

Something that reminded me, I checked to see and in the 2nd halloween event, apparently he grinds his teeth in his sleep (which is probably a whole thing to address??? but i dont know much to give an opinion ;;;)

anyways i’m pretty used to noises at night and the general shenanigans that comes with rooming with younger siblings (there’s no privacy but admittedly it’s less lonely) (but i do prefer privacy). and I imagine deuce anyway to be the respectful type and just tries his best to be considerate

but yeah in any case i could be roommates with him if I didnt have the choice to room alone akjdksjsks

i imagine it may be a picture of him and his mom??? which honestly would be pretty ballsy because you’d think a boy that age would not even consider proudly putting that up because of ridicule (then again he’s also not afraid to fight). but that’s also what i love about deuce, he loves his mom and he cares enough to show it despite what anyone thinks 😭 (or maybe it could be just displaying one of his achievements or something idk idk hgkjdsfjlds)

Man i know the heartslabyul dorm rooms are pretty but it feels so unrealistic for that it is THIS clean and organized (there’s probably some kinda rule in there somewhere keeping it clean i imagine hfhjdjdj)

I think adeuce have that type of friendship where they butt heads and make fun of each other a lot, because that’s like how they show that they are comfortable with one another and that, out of all people, they choose each other as the main person to hang out with.

I think if it weren’t for what happened in the prologue they wouldn’t be as close as friends. It felt like an excuse for them to bond and get to know each other properly despite their differences (and they're roommates so if none of that happened i think they'd only be acquaintances at most)

I also love that during events whenever the other is not involved, it’s always so funny one of them is usually like “wow it’s such a shame ace/deuce is not here”

actually I dont think there’s an event where BOTH ace and deuce is in an event together??? man🧍(unless i'm forgetting something)

but also when is twst gonna finally have the main quartet all be involved in an event together 🤨

AAH i’m just a sucker for the friend duo/trio (+ occasional creature/animal) trope.

I’m lovingly chewing on their dynamic every time
