they have a talk, and hanjae finally talks about his feelings.. for once | ft. choi soobin & nam hanjae | wc: 0.6k

"so.. did you make your decision yet?"

soobin asks, half his body on top of hanjae's. he barely lifts his head to stare at the older, and then places it back down onto the practice floor. "about what?" soobin furrows his eyebrows, scoffing at hanjae's lack of interest for his question.

he flicks his forehead.

"ow! what's your problem!"

"you can't avoid the topic forever!"

"why can't you let me!?" hanjae exclaims, he pushes soobin's face away, making him whine. "i don't want to talk about it.." he mutters, rolling over and pressing his cheek onto the practice room floor.

soobin groans, lifting himself up and placing all of his weight on hanjae once again. "seriously, you don't have to go if you don't want to" he says, staring hanjae straight in the face.

the younger pauses, biting his inner cheek, his face contorts into one of uncomfortableness, this topic isn't one that he's so keen on talking about, but here he is. "i don't know, hyorin isn't even in the country and just being with them on my own is a disturbing thought to me".

soobin hums, simply staring again. he knew all about hanjae's parents and their.. horrible way of deciding to treat their kids, their the ones to blame for their children's mental issues, the ones who made them want to run away, but the relationship between them and their two children has always been a little complicated..

"i don't know.. i feel pretty bad for not visiting" hanjae mutters, poking his tongue through his cheek, and soobin pouts, grabbing his face and turning it so he faces him. "you shouldn't feel that way".

hanjae snickers. "you need to stop worrying about me, i'll be fine" soobin frowns at the words, how could he not worry about him? the only thing on his mind at the moment was.. well— worrying about hanjae.

"don't give me that look".

"you can't order me around, i'm older than you" soobin states.

"by seven days".

"still older" soobin gives a cocky smile, and hanjae scoffs, sticking out his tongue at him. "you look like an idiot".

hanjae makes a look fo fake offense, turning away from soobin. "that's so mean to say to your boyfriend" he emphasizes the word 'boyfriend', and soobin's face scrunches in fake disgust.

"we've been dating for four months".

"you were in love with me for three years and just now became brave enough to say anything!" hanjae exclaims, and soobin scoffs, completely taken aback. i mean it's not like hanjae was wrong but to say it so blatantly is so mean! he did the same thing too! does he remember that?

"you're so stupid" soobin mumbles, now laying completely on top of him.

hanjae pouts. "that's mean".

"didn't you just insult me?"

hanjae gives him a look of disbelief, then gives a small laugh. "no, i have no idea what your talking about, i'm innocent" he gives his most innocent of smiles, then laughs once again, laying his head onto the floor.

"idiot".

"you love me".

soobin lays his head down onto his chest, listening to the beating of his heart. "sure i do" he says, getting himself comfortable on top of the younger. he reaches for hanjae's hand, and starts playing with his fingers, humming to himself.

"so your not gonna go visit your parents?" soobin mutters, playing with the charms on hanjae's bracelet. "at least.. not now?" he clarifies, looking up at his partner.

hanjae stays silent for a moment, his thoughts straying to places he'd never consider actually talking about out loud. "i think i'll wait for a moment.. i'll talk to hyo about it first" he runs his fingers through soobin's hair, staring at the older like he was madly in love with him.

oh wait.. he was.

"you can always.. talk to me.. okay?" hanjae blinks at the words, a smile spreading across his face without any real thought. soobin just continues listening to his heartbeat, comfortable where he is, lying on top of him. "don't be afraid too".

"i'm not afraid anything".

"uh huh, sure".

wang dohee was born on october 8th, 2002 to a korean mother and korean father. her mother, wang rina (born 1973) is a volunteer worker for homeless shelters around seoul. her father, wang eungyeol (born 1970) is a software engineer currently working in seoul, south korea.

dohee was born in seoul, south korea as the first child in her family. the pregnancy was very rough for her mother, so despite wanting to have more children, dohee remained an only child. only having one child to focus on, dohee became very close with her parents. she considered them her best friends all throughout her school years and was always happy to come home to them at the end of the day. when dohee had to move out to become a trainee, she was very homesick and missed her parents so much even though she would still see them every weekend and they were not even an hour away.

when dohee was two years old, her family moved to boston, usa. they lived there until dohee turned eleven, as her parents were worried about her deteriorating korean skills. dohee excelled at her korean secondary school, being especially good at the sciences and maths, her arts grades were also superb. dohee graduated two years early, skipping both her sixth and ninth grade years. dohee had trouble making friends and experienced some bullying in secondary school due to many issues. because of this, her parents wanted her to explore some of her interests outside of school, thus leading to her joining a local dance crew in january 2014.

dohee became a trainee in august of 2017.

she used to be able to speak better english than korean but since moving back, that has changed. 

her parents can speak english well, but dohee is better. 

after moving back to korea, dohee struggled to make friends and had some bullying issues. so, her parents wanted her to explore her interests outside of school, thus allowing her to join a local dance crew in january 2014.

this dance crew entered lots of competitions where dohee could compete in group routines and as a soloist. this also gave her the chance to try out many different styles of dance. 

at one of their competitions in july 2017, dohee was scouted by a bighit employee for her hiphop solo.

her favorite styles of dance are hiphop and modern.

dohee is also quite flexible, but she rarely shows off her skills. 

dohee is ambidextrous. 

she is musically gifted/a musical genius; having perfect pitch, the ability to sight read, and being able to play many different instruments.

dohee was diagnosed with autism and ocd when she was four years old after her parents grew concerned about some behavioral patterns.

After TXT moved into their second dorm, Miyeong was Yeonjun’s roommate. Originally she was supposed to have the biggest room with balcony but instead she put her bunnies in it. By 2023 the group has solo rooms. Miyeong has a room that is split into two and separated by full walls. The boys complained that she basically has two rooms and a balcony, but the company didn’t listen. The room that she uses for herself is pretty small and only holds her bed and a desk.

The second and clearly bigger room is for her bunnies. She has changed the room and the balcony into a bunny heaven. They have 25 square meters of space, and the balcony has been equipped with a floor of real grass as well. Many interviewers have questioned why she has her bunnies in the dorm with her (even before they moved) but she isn’t ashamed of it and is just happy to have happy bunnies close to her.

She was born in Incheon, South Korea, but growing up Oona moved around Korea a lot. She stayed the longest in Daegu due to her staying with her grandparents for a while.

Was the last member to be revealed. Like Beomgyu she was revealed as a secret member and shocked everyone with her gender.

Oona’s lucky number is 2. 

Her family consists of : Her mother, her step-father, her older step-sister, her older step-brother, and her poodle, “Muffin”.

Her father died when she was young ( 14 ) and her mom remarried to a man with two kids. One of which is her step-brother, Jeno of NCT.

Is actually childhood friends with Beomgyu. The two met in secondary school and have been friends ever since.

So far she has no tattoos but has a couple in mind for when she turns 21.

Known as “The Nation’s Little Sister”, "TXT's Snow White", & “Dream Girl” by most TXT fans and a huge majority of Korea.

Oona was actually an ice skater up until she met Beomgyu. She honestly hadn’t even thought about dancing until she met Gyu.

The name Oona is a girl's name of Irish origin meaning "lamb". As her father had stayed in Ireland for a few months just before meeting her mother and in naming her Oona he wanted to combine his love of the country and her mother.

Oona is adept at blending into different groups based on the vibe and energy she perceives and has made many friendships because of this. Some examples being BTS’ Jimin && V, Mamamoo’s Solar, && Wheein, SVTN’s Wonwoo && Woozi, and etc . . .

According to the TXT members, and most fans, her smile can light up a room.

Stepping foot outside into a chaotic buzz was anything but refreshing Mingxia quickly concluded as she watched all her classmates run around. Sure, it was only for a few minutes, but for those few minutes everyone would be allowed the freedom to run around and shout their lungs out. Everyone had someone to run around and shout their lungs out with.

Well, everyone but Mingxia.

It wasn’t that she didn’t want to bask in the playful chaos that sprouted around her, because she did. In fact, she would even go as far to say that it’s in her nature to be playful but it was just that in this instance she didn’t know how.

It was a bit disappointing, watching everyone interact with their friends so smoothly while all she could really do was watch and dream. She smiled longing at the dream of a day where she’d able to uphold an actual conversation with the other kids, but until then she would just have to settle with the thought of it. For the moment she would have to be okay with merely observing the foreign language and learning it.

Finding a secluded area to sit wasn’t hard, but finding somewhere nice to sit was. Everywhere desirable to sit at already haven laid claim by some group of friends who were enjoying their time to talk freely without the fear of disrupting the class.

That’s how Mingxia ended up in the middle of the field, directly under the view of the harsh sunlight.

Now that she thought of it, the warmth against her back that she had just started to get used to was gone. Did the sun go down or is it planning to rain? God, she hoped it wasn’t the latter. She didn’t feel like sitting in drenched clothing for the rest of her school day.

Only now that she became more alert did she finally notice the looming shadow on the ground in front of her. Startled the girl flipped around to catch sight of a little boy standing behind her looking like a deer caught in the headlights. The sight alone was enough to send the little girl into a burst of laughter as the boy merely scrambled to look as casual as possible. Although her laugh was appealing enough to cause a shy smile to grow on the boys face as he turned red.

Having had enough of the awkwardness on his part, the little boy remembered the reason he even came over to the field and he quickly extended his right arm out to the girl. “Hi,” He shyly cheesed, “my names Yonghee!”

Upon Yonghee’s introduction to Mingxia, the girl’s eyes grew as wide as saucers as she rushed to compose herself. This didn’t happen everyday. Quickly lifting her body off of the soft grass, she placed her hand in his with an excited smile lining her lips at the sudden interaction, “Mingxia.”

The little boys nose scrunched up as he repeated the name in his mind a few times trying (and failing) to pronounce it how she had. Once he felt he had gotten the hang of it, he sent the girl a toothless smile, “Mingxia, do you want to be friends?”

Oh how she wished she could make out the words he had just said to her. She really did. Her mind was working on overdrive to at least make sense of the words that she did know. She guessed that he had made an attempt at pronouncing her name correctly, but it was clearly butchered. She can’t blame him, it’s just his tongue was having difficulty with the way it rolled out of his mouth. Besides, even if he did say her name the only other words she understood were ‘do you want’ and that (sadly) wasn’t enough to go off of.

Luckily, Yonghee was a bright boy and he quickly realized his mistakes as he glanced at her confused face in partial amusement and embarrassment. He had forgotten about the obvious language barrier between the two, the girl had just moved from a different country. Looking into the distance he tried to rack through his own brain for an idea to convey his words to the girl in front of him, but he was only coming up empty handed. That was until it hit him smack in the face.

Literally.

In the span of just a second, Mingxia had witnessed a soccer ball fly straight to Yonghee’s head knocking the boy straight onto the floor with a loud BANG. That had to hurt, she thought as she watched the group of culprits walk over to them to grab their precious ball, simply muttering an apology to the boy still on the floor.

Huh. She wondered looking on after the boys walking away with the echo of their laughter trailing behind them. If that’s what their idea of an apology is then she was happy that she didn’t know the language enough to interact with them. She’d rather be surrounded with more empathetic people.

Snapping out of her thought, she was brought back to earth with the sound of a groan, reminding her of the injured boy still on the ground. “Sorry!” Mingxia rushed out as she extended her hand to the boy, the exact same way the boy had only minutes earlier. “Me,” she pursed her lips gently, scouring her brain for words, “help you?”

Yonghee joyfully accepted her hand, pulling himself up completely forgetting about the stinging on the right side of his face. Who could blame him though? He was just gifted the layaway to making Mingxia his friend. Instead of responding to her question, he chose to go a different route.

“You. Me.” He enunciated pointing a finger between the two before moving it to point at a random group of students together, “Friends?”

It didn’t take a genius to figure out what the boy was saying this time around and Mingxia couldn’t contain the large smile that had found it’s way on her face. Because now she didn’t have to just sit around and wait for the day where she could feel included, she had finally made her first friend.
