Here’s my Umika redesign!

She’s one of the less changed ones, I honestly just wanted to work on her nun theme. As I was drawing her I realised it kinda suits her big sister feel. She’s your wise older sister!

Now I’m sure SOMEONE is gonna get mad at her skin tone... but as I was experimenting with skin tones I thought the darker colour looked beautiful on her. It works with her hair so well. (She also totally makes me think of my best friend..! ) I was thinking that my Umika may have an Indian family (also, not having a fully Japanese family might also be a reason why her writing was originally stolen, she wasn’t respected)

The Pseudo-Family Is From Peace

Obtainability: Limited to “The Cuddly Despairs” event shop. This is an Event Bonus Memoria and should be kept in case of a rerun.

MLB Effect: Anti-Dazzle [100%] & Blast Damage Up [30%]

Effect Definitions:

Anti-Dazzle prevents the equipped unit from being afflicted with Dazzle. Dazzle is a Status Ailment that will cause the afflicted target to have a 50% chance to miss their attacks, make the target take 80% more damage from its weak element, and prevent the target from recovering HP.

Blast Damage Up is a straightforward buff that means Blast Discs will deal more damage. Blast Damage Up has a capped percentage at 100%.

TLDR: This memoria belongs in the Memoria Vault Jail. The only notable thing about it would be its Anti-Dazzle.

Review: “The Pseudo-Family Is From Peace” is alright for an event shop memoria, but it’s nothing special. Its Blast Damage effect is useful but can be found on other memoria, including the unlimited three-star “Surrounded by White Wings”-- of course, the benefit of “The Pseudo-Family Is From Peace” would be that it comes fully awakened and leveled, but its percentage just makes it firmly middle-ground average at best.

What makes it stand out would be its Anti-Dazzle.

Almost all of these are welfare, with the exceptions of “Sweet Apportionment” and “Remnants of Light”. None of them are particularly good either-- the best one to use in any generic situation would probably be “Confrontation at the First Act” or “Sweet Apportionment”.

If you don’t have an Anti-Dazzle memoria, keep this one around. Even if you do, you might want to keep “The Pseudo-Family Is From Peace” on the off-chance that its event is rerun. Overall, stick this memoria in the Memoria Vault.

Kazumi Magica redesign wips

because...

I wanted to! I know kazumi isnt a top fan fave but i just really love the characters on their own. I remember when first reading it I just liked them, i wanted to be on the team with them! If you dont like kazumi... just pretend they’re my ocs or something XD

Covered up Kazumi cause, duh, she’s 13 and really wanted to expand on the witchy design. Also unintentionally made her look a bit like madoka but i think it works cause she’s the protagonist. Also gave her long hair cause i like how it separates her from michiru

Gave Kaoru and actual fucking football uniform instead of that dumb and weird leotard.

Umika was one that I kinda liked the original (though what’s it got to do with her being an author?) but I decided to make it more nun-y and flowing

Saki is little changed too, basically just changing the stupid aspects of her original design. I’d also give her a rifle instead of a riding crop

Mirai, whoof, you were done so dirty, sweetie. (like, why was the childish one sexualised, hello????) Gave her the big poofy lolita skirt she deserves and her poor poor hat. Also keep her glasses, cowards! (and restyled her hair cause in og it looks like, i dunno, plush hair instead of human hair)

I’m so so with og. Satomi, its the kind that only needs a few tweaks to fix, but it also has some batshit stupid stuff like her heeled cat paws??? (i still dont know if im happy with the pose here... but...) I definitely like the more fancy, big sister style and the crinoline skirt to reference her witch

I wasn’t gonna do niko at first cause i already pretty much like her design but.. i cant not... Less stupid outfit, more parachutist army girl
