“Karmic Terror” continuation fragment: “How You Can Not Care”

My first time using tumblr to write, so apologies for any mishaps.

This is a fragment of the continuation of a (former) one-shot written in my Undertale AU UnderErased, called “Karmic Terror”. Edge (UF!Papyrus) sits Comic (UT!Sans), Red (UF!Sans), Stretch (US!Papyrus), and Morgue (UE!Frisk- basically) down and calls them out on their nihilism after Comic has a night terror and nearly dusts Stretch. The older brothers are being their normal reticent selves, which drives a very frustrated and hurt Edge to ask a very insensitive question: “How can you not care?” This is Morgue’s answer.

“BUT HOW CAN YOU NOT CARE?!” Edge asked, hurt and frustrated, and confused. None of the older skeletons answered him. None of them would even look away from the floor or wall- wherever they were staring that wasn’t him.

“... Because you care too much.” Morgue said, several heads snapping up at the sound of her voice. She leaned back, breathing deeply and evenly, eyes closed. If she wasn’t talking, the skeletons would have thought her asleep. “Because it hurts so much because you care too much. That’s okay though- that’s the price of caring. But when it happens over and over and hurts over and over, you start pretending not to care, start saying ‘whatever’. Eventually, it starts to feel like you truly don’t care, but by that time ‘whatever’ has started to become your default reaction, apathy has consumed you and fallen into nihilism and you truly feel like you don’t care, but you do care and you’re still hurting, still breaking, you’re just numb. You’re numb as it continues repeating over and over and over, numb as the pain you feel only echoes of breaks you further and further. “Until one day, something happens, and you want to care, feel like you should care. But ‘whatever’ is your default answer, apathy-turned-nihilism has consumed you, and you can’t. You can’t, so you sit passive as you always have, and guilt becomes a new source of pain, one you can’t avoid, and you are still breaking, even faster now. But you’re numb, so you can’t feel yourself breaking, shattering. It just comes out through the cracks, when you let your guard down in your sleep or something happens and your wall temporarily comes down. Be glad, though, be glad that they have chosen to not care, because if you do...” Morgue opened her eyes and smirked when the other four gasped- her sclera were black as the void, her irises red as fresh blood. All four skeletons reacted defensively at the sheer display of LOVE, but Morgue didn’t move a muscle, other than gently closing her eyes again. “... you get this. When you can’t convince yourself it doesn’t matter... People die.”

AU Tage

AU Tage is a tradition that starts every 1,000 years where all AUs gather together, talk, play and show off their abilities. 

Once the event begins all AU building will halt until this event has been finished, This event will last for approximately 144 hours (6 days), this event is held by the deities Ink, Error, Negative, Glitch and Time!Sans. The event will be held in a field with a landscape immeasurable by the naked eye, the event is mostly held to let AUs get to know one another and is also designed to test skills. The event is meant to be fun and nonviolent. The deities will also take place in this event as it's necessary that AUs get to know them as well. 

If you want your an AU that hasn’t already been added then please tell or ask me.

This animation is scheduled to be done in 2019 - 2020 January or October.

The reason for this is because this AU will have over 300 AUs in it.

besides that i could use some help with the art and animation of some of the characters. if you are willing to help me do this you will be paid well. further information can be shared and noted upon asking me.

Morgue’s Soul from my fiction UnderErased. Mystery Soul, also from UnderErased.

My very first (semi) finished electronic piece of art. Supposed to have wings at one point but I can’t get them to come out right and today just isn’t my day to draw. My second finished electronic piece of art, companion to the first one. If you’ve read UnderErased, it is quite possible to determine who’s soul that is... and that would be some p major spoilers.

Here is Erase!Sans From my new AU call UnderErase. I'm gonna do A comic of Is Au

Some information about him:

-He is a outcode.

- powers : Erase,Use, Save, Copy and Change the memory of other Au.

-Weapons: A sword he can make from Data. And his powers.

-Job: His Job is to Erase the memory of the people after a reset of their timeline.

-Bad or good sans?: He's neutral He doesn't care about the fight between the sans. He just here to do his job. But if people mess with is job he will make them "change their mind".

-His home: He just live in the Au for a little time and when He change his location he make them forget about him.

-a bit of history: He is born after some "bug" in the multiverse. The bug stop making everybody forget after the reset. So the multiverses make a outcode for repare it. Even If he meet Ink and error he know that he have to let nothing for him in anybody mind. So he do is job and try to not let Ink and Error see him.

Morgue’s ‘Save Star’... which isn’t really a save star, it just shows up when she Respawns. It’s literally... just a black save star. That shines with a black light. Which I really don’t know how to draw, so here ya go.
