Discord server is still down so I shall rant here-

LiDAR is so fucking cool as a horror concept and I so wish ppl toyed w it more. The LiDAR mod in Gmod? Fucking phenomenal. Scanner Sombre? So awesome. There are other mods for other games that toy w LiDAR and it makes for such a great horror game! Esp when things get color coded so you have more of a reason to be scared. Living entities are red and the surrounding environment is white? AMAZING SCARE TACTIC. Red figure disappears as soon as it's scanned? Leaving an outline of a figure. Ohohoho now I'm really scared and invested.

Srsly game devs should toy around w this more. It doesn't have to be anything huge like Scanner Sombre, just a short indie game w great scares if you want. IT DOESN'T EVEN HAVE TO BE PRESENTED AS A HORROR GAME !! You could market it as a satisfying lil simulator in which you cover everything to create a world around you but then oh what's this? Mysterious figure? In my single player game??

All I'm saying is LiDAR is a fantastic tool and should be used to it's full potential
