But just as the President is pushing for a cleaner car this, and an electric vehicle that, a piece of dire economic news has come across the grid. In a surprise to investors and some in the industry, Proterra – the battery producer and electric bus manufacturer – waited for the close of market trading on Monday to make a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing. 

Proterra has failed to turn a profit on its core electric bus manufacturing operations, as well as the drivetrain, battery and EV charger businesses it launched over the past five years. Proterra’s cost of goods sold for the first quarter was $86.1 million, even greater than its revenue, which means that Proterra loses money on every bus it sells.

While not too many are bowled over by the news of yet another green energy-related company falling on hard economic times, this one is of particular note for a few reasons. For starters, it flies in the face of all of the hype and promise that Biden and the administration have been putting out regarding our need to become a nationalized electric vehicle mecca.

Having had my episode

when I pushed my as yet

unelectric, unassisted, trike

too hard up too many hills

one day, and ended up

in the emergency room,

they scheduled me for

a stress echocardiogram,

which was yesterday. I

always request the treadmill,

as the chemical makes me

feel like I am dying, and,

since I have a left-bundle

branch block and the resulting

hard to read ekg, that means

my cardiologist has to attend.

He did, and I climbed the

increasingly steep treadmill

until I could go no more

and got over to the echo

table and got my stress

images done, and laid there

until I got my breath back.

If you have done it you know

the drill. Come as close to

killing yourself as possible,

so they can take echos of

your struggling heart. All

good in the end. My heart

is damaged but no worse

than it has been for these

last years since my full on

heart attack…still ticking

over…still pumping blood.

All good. Or as good as it

is going to get. The cardiologist

wants to see me before I

go to Uganda to climb up

to see the Gorillas (if indeed

the epidemic eases enough

to make that possible by

August) but he is okay with

me riding my now fully

electric assisted trike and

mowing the lawn and taking

long walks, and all that…

so life with a dicky ticker

goes on…which is certainly

better than any alternative.

HOW DID I CAME up WITH THAT OUTPUT? In my whole Life I used to be Lonely and alone. everytime I See everything in my mind or Ideas that came out I tend to Draw, I used my hands and Imagination to made an Artistic work. Since I was Young my Interests are arts but I consider myself as a Very Explorer because I want to try everything. My talent started when my older sister taught me how, using her cheap tools, everynight we used to Draw together with "Lampara" or Unelectric Light just using Gas to light it up. Yes, my life is very Hard but I keep practising and I always Joined a competition the hard thing is my winnings are less than my losed but I never told myself to Give up because I can be more than and beyond my dreams. Now I Always had a trouble in practising because of my schedule but I make assure that once a week I should have to hold my pen. In that artwork I used Liza Soberano as my model and My materials are Color pencil, Blending pencil, Blending eraser, Charcoal pencil and vellum board it take a 7 hours until I finished but it was satisfying because I believe that if you have a patience you can produce Great things Goodluck guys and keep practising.
