Happy Test tile Monday! 🤣😂Ok... ok... I hear you ... “where is the mug shot”... “WTH Bonnie, how can it be Monday with out the mug?” (Everyone now sreaming loudly...) “What about #mugshotmonday?” Well, all I can say is ... PATIENCE! 🤣😂🤣Ugh... probably one of my least favorite words... (in both spelling and practice.) 😂🤣😂Most of you know, one of my dad’s favorite sayings was..”I’ve got lots of patience... I haven’t used any yet!“ (#truth)😂🤣 Well...I am my fathers daughter on this, (😜for sure) and may be why the universe made me fall head over heels, with all things pottery! “Why?” you ask. (Wow, you guys are pretty chatty today....)🤣 Well the universe wants to teach me some of the patience🤣😂 Pottery is really a slow moving thing from beginning to end. Always waiting for something to dry, fire or cool⏳⌛️⏳I’ve got a new clay and instead of making the mugs and just glazing them... (🤷‍♀️old me style=all over the place and kinda 😜 crazy). I used a bit of the patience and tested the glazes on the new clay first😮🎉 Hopefully this patience will be rewarded🎉... "1000 times enough." Remember this always, lovely humans. If you'd like, I've found it very very helpful to write 3 affirmations in a journal each day to combat the self bullying and loathing that used to happen constantly in my mind. Some days I've forgotten, but it's important not to be too hard on yourself if you do. Today and everyday is a new day - a new chance to be kind and loving with yourself. At first, it was difficult - especially to accept the warm words I was writing to and about myself. My mind would combat each with reasons they weren't true, but the more I continued - the easier it's gotten to combat those thoughts right back with affirmations of, "yes I am". Just the fact that I can say I "used to" bully myself, is a huge indicator that doing so has and is helping me to grow more and more in love with myself with each passing day - with each line of light and love I give to myself.
