He doesn’t cross my mind really but last night he was in my dream.

He was this handsome Manila guy I met on a dating app when we were a few years younger. I would describe him as a conyo guy who would wear cute printed crew socks with a laid-back shirt and still effortlessly beautiful.

I think we spent time together about twice. He drove me around the busy night streets of Manila, told me trivia about the buildings we passed by, and explained to me that the heart of Manila was planned to be designed as beautiful as the streets of Paris. One time, we drove near the Manila City Hall and a police car with its red and blue light on was behind us and he said with a giggle, “Natatakot ako kapag may police car sa likod ko, feeling ko hinahabol ako, parang sa movie.” I hardly remember what other interests we really talked about that night, honestly. It was all about the typical getting to know each other. Oh, I remember, they own a bank and he got an older sister. He loved his bichon frisé dog so much and showed me some pictures of it, he said I should get one too. All were so random conversation, there was a moment where he pulled his hair allowing his hairline to be visible, told me how prepared he was if his hair gets thinner. Apart from these, he shared a piece of him that enabled me to know him a little. He openly said that his parents were annulled and he stays with his most beloved mom. And he took architecture in UST but transferred to CSB after.

What I won’t forget was when we parked in an empty parking lot along Roxas Boulevard. I sat on his lap while he was in the driver’s seat and kissed inside his car with the busy lights of the cars passing by as our only audience. He touched me underneath with his hard hand, with broad fingers and clean-cut nails. Then he sniffed his wet fingers while uttering these words “Malinis ka ha.” I think I just passed the come clean test (Of course, duh?) Then he asked if he could lay his head on my lap. I looked through him as I touched his dark wavy hair. He got this wedge-shaped, well-contoured nose, eyes like they’ve seen the prettiest girls in the metro, and lips that were far more pinkish than mine. As we were talking, the damn security guard caught us! Yeah, this Manila guy forgot to turn off his tail lights, good thing we were just literally talking when he flashed the light through the tinted window

Passed 10:00 o'clock in the evening, he drove me home. I don’t know, but there was no attachment between us because I know I am out of his league anyway. We chat for some time and he even asked me to watch his favorite series which is F*R*I*E*N*D*S. We ate in Pancake House while transferring the files on my old red laptop. This was the last time we saw each other before I entered med school.

I am not expecting anything from him but I am glad we are still connected in our social media accounts after 6 years. I can see where he is now, a registered architect with an empire to build and as always, a mama’s boy.

I am glad of what he had become. Till next time.

Day 7: Enchanted This was my home for 4 years! And those were the most memorable years of my life (so far). I might be biased but my the Main is the most stunning building on campus hahaha. It’s pretty enchanting at night especially when the Christmas lights are up. Walking around campus at night while sipping my overpriced tea is my favorite past time haha.
