#personal#vinland saga lb#dont compare that man to him!!#technically askeladd and snake are both the shitty characters presented as likable but i think like thru this instance snake is v#forced. askeladd was smart and went out in a cool way so lets have thorfinn compare him to snake#while snake was shown to be likable thru not being overly evil but instead he enforces the law. basically a lazy cop that is talented#he'll chat w the prisoners and maybe not let them die but he is guarding them. they cant leave and he will punish dissidents#i think we're supposed to like he's loyal to his men too but i couldnt give a shit abt them esp w how theyre introduced here#baffling choice for cool 'gray' (??) character. lichrally a cop#unless snake is different in the manga. everything im saying here is based off the anime
