Hace unos meses, nos enviaron esta bicicleta desde Cádiz para montarle un motor Pendix. Una magnífica bicicleta de cicloturismo, una Santos (aunque ya sabéis que para cicloturismo no hay mejor que una buena reclinada), equipada con Rohloff, dinamo de buje SON y faro SON todos en el mismo tono de naranja: espectacular. Ah, y transmisión por correa Gates. Para aumentar la autonomía, pues sus intenciones son hacer rutas largas, el usuario se llevó dos baterías de 500Wh. El Pendix es totalmente silencioso, poco invasivo en la bicicleta, mejora su aspecto y prescinde de cables que afean la bici y a menudo son fuente de problemas. En el Pendix, la batería es el mando de control, y sólo se toca antes de emprender la marcha. Fuimos a buscar la bicicleta-y a llevarla de nuevo a Correos para enviarla de vuelta- en este triciclo, el Butchers & Bicycles MK1-E. Una supermáquina con funcionamiento basculante (estable como una bici), motorización Bosch Cargo Line, transmisión por correa de carbono Gates y sistema de marchas progresivo Enviolo. Otros triciclos son mucho más sensibles a la dirección, precisamente porque no inclinan. Pero el B&B compensa en la vertical los movimientos laterales, convirtiendo su conducción en suave, cómoda, estable y segura. Y así de bien se va. Si buscas una bici de carga, ven a 3ike.
