feeling some type of way about being curled safely in a stomach where you can feel the love and warmth and protection of the pred surrounding you but even so, the stomach you’re in is like a wild beast and you can still hear it growling and whining for you. you can feel the way it kneads impatiently into you, wanting to tear into you and reduce you to nothing. but the only reason it hasn’t is simply because your pred said, “no. this one is mine. not yours. stand down.” and the stomach obeys. it holds you right in its center and goes against its every instinct, merely because your pred would rather hold you tenderly within them and keep you safe from the rest of the world than give in and let you get hurt

The pred's stomach is squirming and writhing, and it's letting out a lot of bassy gurgles. The prey inside is being hopelessly dominated by the pred's body... And you can see it. When the prey goes still for a moment, it's super obvious. The pred's stomach is still moving, but not because of the prey this time.

The strong churning of the pred's stomach translates to a rhythmic, gentle pulsing on the outside. The movement seems deceptively soft, but with every few pulses, a muffled cry comes from the pred's stomach... Followed by a liquidy gurgle.

Someone’s boat gets wrecked in a storm, they’re in a lifeboat, and a sea monster is circling. They worry that they’re done for, and sure enough, the monster pops out and, well, eats them.

Surprisingly, the person finds themselves still alive but still figures the monster has some weird anatomy that means digestion will be slow. But after a day or two, they’re still alive and find themselves … spit back out onto land! Really, the monster didn’t want to hurt them. He just wanted to save them and take them to land

the opposite of the trope where a pred wakes up w a full stomach, confused as to why

a pred falls asleep after eating prey, but when they wake up, it's completely gone, and they notice this. where did it go?

did they just digest it so quickly and thoroughly that it has no trace left? But surely they'd still feel something inside them

did they let the prey go? Maybe, but they don't remember doing that. Sometimes the pred might wake up late at night, do something while they're still half asleep, and then go back to bed, forgetting about it. But spitting up their prey would surely wake them up more.

Maybe the prey escaped on it's own, or someone helped. But then it's the same question: why wouldn't the pred wake up or remember? Are they really such a deep sleeper?

the pred looks around their house, like they were searching for a pet spider that escaped it's tank. there was nothing to be found. There was no signs of struggle, the doors were locked.

This would be a mystery that would haunt the pred forever. But for now they wanted breakfast
