For over a decade, going all the way back to my teenage days in metal bands; the goal was always there: get a van- and bounce. I finally did it, and I can't wait to hit the road w/ @petertheheeler and climb all over the place. I have been away from home for over 40 days, and traveled over 3000 miles with different people in different vehicles- and now the maiden voyage of Vanleyc will take me home. But first: @kevinsnothere and I are gonna wreak havoc on the strip one more time tonight- to end this absolutely insane adventure with a bang. Friday, (the day after the TMC linkup) I had plans to climb Snake Dike on Half Dome with @hi.imdenise. Needless to say, I was a lil sore- and pretty much knew the day was gonna be tough- but I wasn't about to bail, and it's kind of hard to say no to an attempt at four classic big mountain summits in less than 48 hours; So at 4am I woke up and we started the long approach to Snake Dike. I climbed it back in May, and it was such a long day I swore the usual "Never doing this again", but 99% percent of the time I don't really mean that. Surprisingly, the route wasn't crowded at all- and Denise and I made great time hitting the summit and got back to the car before dark! While my calves and feet screamed at me all day, the fantastic setting of being on Half Dome- paired with Denise's stoke and good company kept me going without (too many) complaints. *Bonus Story* When I got back to the van, I was stoked to not have to wake up at 4am the next day, and even more stoked to have some rest. Well idk if I had some form heat exhaustion or what, but once I found a spot outside the park to sleep around 9pm- I literally puked my brains out while simultaneously using my ass as a super soaker out the side door of VanleyC literally until the sun came up. So instead of sleep + rest I gave my already thrashed abs the power vomit workout for about 8 hours. Good times in Yosemite!!!! 😜 #AdventureOn (at Half Dome)

Locked my keys in the van yesterday, and then got harassed by park officials today- but Yosemite is delivering per usual. Got a couple sweet climbs in so far with @austinchase310 an @ashtontimmons, and I'm really enjoying living outta the vanleyc for my first trip out with it. My parents come out tomorrow, and I cant wait to show them around my favorite place for a couple days, then some crazy shenanigans for @emiliooooooo bachelor party weekend. Life is good! #AdventureOn (at Yosemite Valley)
