Recorded early in 2017, 1.0 marks the beginning of the Vantabrown™️ concept. It touches briefly on these concepts as I transition from the light hearted sound & feeling Of Chale Vato(House Music) to the impact, feeling & statement that Techno can express and create.House has always been a form of expression that has allowed me to be myself. As a youth House was an aid that allowed me to find my voice and connect me to other likeminded individuals. Outcasts who found solace on the dance floor. People who were ‘different’. Worries and problems shattered by rhythms, beats & basslines. A community in the underground where we shared this feeling.Vantabrown™️ is an extension of the Chale Vato DJ mix series, parties, events & with a focus on the sound, ideas and concepts of Techno as a weapon in the resistance in this new era of struggle. In a world where simply being born with brown skin, being different or loving who you love, marks a tough and never ending fight for equality. These are things one does not simply choose. Although these problems are nothing new, this year has highlighted, on a personal level, how this country(the US) needs change."We are a part of the loud minority, and as such, we are a part of those concerned with change!"The Struggle.
