VHS Tape with Husks. 5x4x1, ceramic, 2020. The VCR was revolutionary. For the first time you could watch what you wanted when you wanted (provided that you taped it before or the title was available at blockbuster). Some tapes we watched over and over, a favorite movie or tv show. Other tapes languished in the shelf, a graduation or birthday party never to be taped over in case we needed access to those images, those memories.
