🏆~ What would you say is the greatest challenge of being a demon?

  When the man that had raised him confiscated his ticket to Hell, Kitaro could not fathom why a human would ever wish to go there. His father had then explained to him the potency of human curiosity. Humans always had trouble minding their own business. They didn’t belong in demon affairs, especially not after their history of driving out and torturing his kind. Yet they always found a way to cross the boundaries they claimed. Such a victim complex they possessed, honestly.  The fur of his vest rustled in response to the graveyard chill, but Kitaro remained still. It wasn’t as if curiosity irked him in the slightest. With his thumbs sticking out of his pockets, the buck toothed child calculated his day to day endeavors. No human? No rights. This zinger from the world of humans was a common philosophy, if science had no say in the existence of monsters.

  “Yokai don’t have access to delicious cake...” Kitaro explained his greatest misfortune forthright, though he would also enjoy a pack of Hope and Peace to cease his jitters as well. The withdrawal symptoms could easily be mistaken for shivers brought on by the cold, but he endured with bare legs and feet. Out of all the things that don’t change, Kitaro had only ever had two helpings of cake in his life. He was lucky to get a treat like caramel bonbons with his savings.
