It's this Saturday! (09/16/2023) If you're in New York and want to come to a completely vegan event, tickets are buy-one-get-one today (09/12/2023) :3 $25 for two general admission, or only $10 for entry after 4pm.

Location: Randall's Island (completely outdoor event) Time: 11:00am - 8:00pm ET 250+ vendors, everything is vegan. The weather is supposed to be nice; 75F and cloudy. Yay. I went last year for the first time; There were a LOT of people, and I was still able to find a nice spot to lay out my blanket and chill for the day.

I was so busy enjoying myself that I did not take many photos of my food last year, but I will try harder this year, lol.

Other random stuff from Chicago:

The train station was grand and beautiful, and I saw real-life Amish people (they're in this pic, but I didn't want to be too nosy about it)

The other main purpose of my visit was to attend a vegan food festival in Chicago with my friend, called Vegandale. 2nd and 3rd pics are of the festival, and 4th and 5th pics are vegan deep dish pizza and Senegalese jollof rice. I actually ate a ton more delicious (though overpriced) things but forgot to take photos of them. Also, because it's Chicago, the music was great - house and footwork DJs, and also lots of hip hop. On the 2nd day, 2 Chainz, Jadakiss, and Saweetie played, but we didn't stick around for that part. I was mostly stoked to hear footwork - you very very rarely hear it in Vancouver (I once deejayed a footwork set at a miniscule footwork party here).

And of course, I visited the Bean (pics 6 & 7).
