the sad thing about spending time with an ex dancer friend is that we watch our old nutcracker dvds and go “oh hey that’s mckenna, she quit a year after this one with anorexia” “oh hey what happened to lea? oh yikes, broke an ankle and quit” “ooh, remember grace? she was always getting bullied by the teacher so she quit too” “oh I haven’t seen isabelle in years, she must have quit right after that, wasn’t she the one so and so liked to pick on?” “yeah iirc kanani quit too, she said it was killing her self esteem”

i take dance class instead of pe and my dance teacher is really mean. and during the first class of the year she made this comment about how we’re not allowed to chew gum. so i was like ‘mkay makes sense, we don’t want gum all over the dance room’ but then she said that if she sees us chewing on our cheeks or lips or smth and she yells at us cus she thought we were chewing gum, that it’s our faults and she said, and i quote, ‘your the weird one for chewing on your mouth, not me’. and guess who chews on his lips n mouth n stuff as a way to stim?…. this silly guy right here! tom does! ofc he does!!!! so now whenever she’s talking i can’t hear what she’s saying cus i’m focusing on making sure i don’t look like i’m chewing gum cus if she yells at me i think i’ll have a heart attack (a panic attack but yknow i like to be dramatic). so yeah, it’s a struggle. (she also already called me rude cus she thought i wasn’t paying attention to her talking but i literally have a processing disorder. it’s in my files. it’s in my 504. she stresses me out and scares me really bad)
