Interesting that there's tension between Obama and Biden since leaving office. Did any other recent presidents have issues with their vice president?
Ummm....Trump legitimately almost got his Vice President killed on January 6th, so let's not forget that. Especially since Mike Pence was one of the most subservient, ass-kissingest (I made that word up, it's okay) Vice Presidents in American history up until the last two weeks of their Administration.
Pretty much all of the POTUS/VP partnerships this century ended kinda badly. Bill Clinton and Al Gore were barely on speaking terms for a few years. Gore felt that Clinton cost him dearly with the whole Lewinsky scandal right before Gore made his own bid for the Presidency in 2000. Clinton felt that Gore should have sucked it up and used him more as a surrogate on the campaign trail because even with the scandals, Clinton was still a wildly popular President in his last few years in office, and a top-notch campaigner. Gore tried to put as much distance as possible between him an Clinton during the 2000 campaign and considering how razor-thin the margin was in 2000, Clinton's presence on the campaign trail probably would have sealed the deal and made Gore the President.
George W. Bush and Dick Cheney were growing apart in Bush's second term. Bush started to bristle at all the talk that he was an empty suit and that Cheney was the power behind the throne, and he sidelined Cheney in the second term compared to Cheney's aggressive role in the first term, particularly during the run-up to the Iraq War. The breaking point was when Bush refused to pardon Scooter Libby, Cheney's chief of staff, who was indicted and ultimately convicted for leaking information about Valerie Plame's role as a CIA agent. Cheney thought President Bush should give Libby a full and clear pardon, but although Bush commuted Libby's prison sentence, he refused to give him a full pardon and it infuriated Cheney. They've reconciled over the years, but it's still a sore spot whenever Cheney talks about it. Of course, Donald Trump eventually pardoned Libby.
I think we'll learn more about the relationship between President Biden and Vice President Harris after the election, but it doesn't seem like they were particularly close, although there wasn't the outright tension as in the other partnerships I've mentioned. Biden has always had an extremely tight circle of close advisers, and I don't think Kamala ever was a part of that insular world around Biden. It seems that, instead of tension between the principals, there were issues from the beginning between the two staffs. I'm not sure they were ever completely on the same page, but those stories won't fully come to light until after November.

The Former Vice President
Tumblr media
Featuring Former Vice President, Mike Pence
It was August of 2023, and I was at the Iowa State Fair where presidential hopefuls are expected, a tradition in one of the first states to hold caucuses in 2024. I was enjoying myself on one of display tractors when found myself in a press opt with Former U.S. Vice President and current presidential candidate Mike Pence. He jumps on the tractor I was on and immediately grabbed the gearshift and looked me and ask, “Want me to work that for ya?”
Tumblr media
I found myself flustered looking into his entrancing eyes, and admiring his 5’10”, 63-year-old figure. From his silver hair, surprisingly thick body, and clothing, which I found oddly appealing. He was friendly, giving me a hearty slap on the chest and smiling for the cameras.
In that brief encounter, I suspected this married politician might be interested, but I resolve to not convey any gay vibe to encourage him. The tension I was feeling was distracting, but not necessarily unwelcome.
And then it was over as he continued to the next photo opt. I thought nothing else about the encounter and admired him from afar as I enjoy my time at the fair.
Tumblr media
Later that afternoon, needing to take a piss, I headed over to nearest, not crowd restroom. It was empty as I unzipped and started peeing into one of the twelve or so urinals that tightly lined the wall.
To my surprise, Mr. Pence entered and unexpectedly moved in front of the urinal right next to me.
I cautiously glanced over. Our eyes met, and I felt a shudder of electricity as Mr. Pence unzipped, revealing his ample beautiful cock. It was about 6 1/2 inches, the perfect size to get in my mouth.
Of was getting hard as I finished peeing, but the last I wanted to do was get involved a scandal with the married, former vice president who's currently running for president. But I couldn’t control myself as tried to conceal my hard-on by pressing into the urinal, only that only encouraged Mr. Pence.
His cock was now rock hard and as though the powerful old man could read my mind, he slowly reached out his hand and wrapped his fingers around my dick.
My head was swimming from the rush of sexual excitement pulsing through my body as I reciprocated by reaching over and closing my fingers around the old man's swollen dick.
Just then, there was a knock at the restroom door.
"Sir, you should wrap things up." A voice said who I presumed was one of his security detail.
“Why don't we finish this someplace… more private." Mr. Pence whispered before kissing me gently on the lips.
Next thing I knew, his security whisked us away to a hotel room and found ourselves naked, making out on the bed. My cock was rock hard, pressing against his naked belly with his pressing back. My dick was in control as all my concerns were miles away.
Breaking our embrace, Mike moved down between my legs, admired my cock for a moment before slipping his lips over my manhood and going to work.
This married Republican was a ferocious cocksucker. He couldn’t get enough of sucking my cock, and from the way he was doing it, he had done it before. Holding my cock at the base, he bobbed on the head for minute before releasing it from his mouth with a gasp and jerked me off so he could catch his breathe.
Again, Mike admired my cock, still jacking me off, before slapping it on his tongue a few times before continuing his assault on my cock.
Faster and faster, he worked on my cock until it slipped out his mouth and he jacked it for all its worth. And with a loud groan, I fired my load on to his waiting face as he furiously jerked me off. Licking his lips, Mike placed his mouth back over my cock, sucking the last few drops out.
We laid there for a while, recovering before Mike noticed I was still erect. He smiled as I rolled on top of him. And like a good bottom, he immediately spread his legs, lifting them in the air. I knew from the look on his face that he wanted it. And wanted me to fuck his ass the way he would have fucked his wife, missionary style. And I get to run my hands all over that wonderful chest while my cock repeatedly drilled his ass. It was a freaking rush!
Mike put his arms around his knees, spreading his legs wide apart, giving me full access to his butt. So, I spit on the head of my dick, applying it to my aching cock before pressing the swollen red head against his old tight asshole. Mike moaned until it popped into his asshole with ease.
I knew right then; it wasn’t just sucking cocks Mike was doing.
I worked all 8 inches of me in as I admired the silver-haired gentleman beneath me. Looking into his beautiful blue eyes I could see the lust that he shared for me.
He reached up, pulled my face hard against his as I sent my tongue down his throat. Mike moaned deep in his throat as I rammed my dick up to my balls inside of him, fucking the old man hard as he clung to me like a child.
"Oh, fuck." Mike moan as our lips finally separated.
The passion we exchanged shocked me and sent me into a sex craze as I drove my fat cock even deeper into him. I felt a shudder run through his burly body as I pound my stiff dick harder and harder. I could hear my balls slapping against his ass with every thrust of my hips as I planted kisses on his cheeks, forehead, and all over his face as I pounded away.
"Oh, fuck." Mike moan again in a choking, husky voice.
Then I was deep kissing him again as he moaned painfully while I pounded into him. By now, his asshole had loosened up with each thrust of my cock as Mike grabbed a hold of my shoulders. I was dripping with sweat, and as the orgasm started to flood through me, my back arched, and I shot off deep inside of him.
Wanting to taste his cum, I jerked my dick out of the old man's asshole and got back down between his legs and started sucking on the engorged purple head of his cock for all it was worth. He moaned and bucked beneath me as I skillfully brought him closer and closer to a climax.
"Oh yes son." Mike moaned as he rubbed my shoulder with his left hand and forced my head further down his cock with his right.
Suddenly he was pumping his cock even further down my throat when I felt him tensing up, firing his load.
"Oh, fuck. Oh, fuck yeah." He moans, holding me down on his cock. We lay there breathing hard and totally spent but satisfied.

I keep seeing posts about Joe Biden being old so voting for him is pointless bc he'll lose and/or die anyway??
But every american should know ? If he dies then his Vice President takes office?? They teach this in elementary/middle school and again in history bc one President already died a month after winning? ??
So like even mid election whomever is on the ballot for Vice President (probably Kamala Harris again) will take over?
Why is everyone acting like if Biden dies Trump wins by default??

Hypothetically what do you think would have happened if the january 6 rioters had gotten to pence or pelosi before they got safe?
At this point, I almost dread answering questions like this anymore because I know the kind of hate mail it will unleash for the next few days, but it's important to keep talking about what happened on January 6, 2021 since so many people are trying to normalize it. That includes many people whose lives were in danger that day, as well as the former President who tried to hold on to power by encouraging his supporters to launch a violent insurrection and is now referring to those who have been brought to justice for attempting a coup as "patriots" and "hostages".
I genuinely believe that there were people in that crowd who would have killed Vice President Pence, Speaker Pelosi, and certain Congressional leaders if they had reached them on January 6th. I think there are people in that crowd who were ready to hold lawmakers hostage. Why else did they have handcuffs and zip ties? To help the Capitol Police maintain order? (Oh yeah...that's right, thanks for reminding me: they violently attacked the police -- some even beat police officers with the "Blue Lives Matter" flags that they brought with them.) Now, I do not think that everybody who was at the Capitol on January 6th -- or even the majority of those who took part in the insurrection -- were willing to go that far. I think a lot of them got swept up in what was happening and went with the flow. That doesn't excuse what they did. The flow that they got swept up in was still a fucking insurrection, and anyone who took part in that deserves to be held accountable. But I think there were certain elements embedded throughout that crowd that were much more organized and prepared to fully execute their plans for a coup after disrupting the certification of the Electoral College votes.
I actually think Vice President Pence was probably in more danger than even Speaker Pelosi or some of the Democratic leaders because Trump was so actively calling him out in the days and hours before the insurrection. I think that's why Pence is so adamant now about not supporting Trump. I mean, think about how disgustingly loyal and subservient Pence was to Trump throughout those four years until basically the first few days of January 2021. But even as other Republican leaders are crumbling and offering their allegiance to Trump again in 2024, Pence is standing by his decision not to endorse or support Trump, and I think that's because he realizes that Trump absolutely almost got him (and his family, who were with him in the Capitol on that day) killed on January 6th. Shit, even Mitch McConnell has folded and endorsed Trump again despite the fact that Trump has spent the last three years not only insulting him but also making racist attacks and questioning McConnell's wife's loyalty to the United States all because Elaine Chao had the audacity to resign from Trump's Cabinet in the wake of the insurrection. Yet Mike Pence -- who spent the better part of four years following Trump around like Paul Heyman follows Roman Reigns...
Tumblr media
...THAT same Mike Pence is steadfastly refusing to endorse Trump because he has personal experience about how real of an existential threat Trump is. Some of those people at the Capitol were very serious about following through on their chants to "Hang Mike Pence", and not only does Pence realize that, but he also knows now that Trump -- who refused to take actions that would have helped clear the Capitol more quickly -- said "he deserves it" when hearing about those chants.
That's what is so scary about the insurrection, its aftermath, and the Trump Republican Party's redefinition of what happened that day. It almost worked. They stormed the United States Capitol and invaded both chambers of Congress. They carried Confederate flags into the United States Capitol -- even the fucking Confederate States of America didn't successfully invade Washington, D.C. and plant their flag in the Capitol. They were willing to hurt and probably kill some of America's elected leaders. And the people who helped plan and instigate the events of January 6th have spent the three-plus years since then learning from their mistakes and figuring out how to be successful next time. And guess what? "Next time" is only a few months away.

CLAIM: The U.S. Supreme Court will hear a case to remove President Joe Biden from office and reinstate former President Donald Trump in his place.
AP’S ASSESSMENT: False. The Supreme Court has not decided to hear such a case. On Feb. 21, the Justices rejected for a second time to hear a case that cites baseless 2020 election fraud claims to call for the Court to oust from office hundreds of elected officials, including Biden, as well as to prevent them from holding any elected government position again. Several days later, a website published an article incorrectly stating that the case was going ahead, but the post has since been taken down.
THE FACTS: Nearly one week after the Supreme Court Justices doubled down on their decision not to hear the suit, social media users falsely claimed the opposite.
One Instagram post shared a screenshot of a headline reading: “Supreme Court To Hear Case To Reinstate Donald Trump Over ‘Rigged’ Election.” It had received nearly 1,400 likes as of Wednesday.
The full article, which was published on Feb. 26, four days after the decision, stated that the Court was “reconsidering hearing” the lawsuit “after previously dismissing it earlier this year.” It has since been taken down, and an article published on Feb. 28 by the same author correctly reports that the court rejected the case.
Other posts made days after the decision echoed the original article’s claim that the case still had a chance of being heard. They received tens of thousands of likes and shares on Twitter.
The suit — Adams v. Brunson, et al. — was previously dismissed by a lower court, and that ruling was upheld on appeal, according to court documents. It was then appealed to the Supreme Court in October 2022. The suit argues that Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, former Vice President Mike Pence and 385 members of Congress committed treason when they failed to probe baseless claims that the 2020 election was rigged.
Further, it calls for the removal of these officials and a ban on their future ability to hold elected office, as well as “the swearing in of the legal and rightful heirs for President and Vice President of the United States.” It does not specifically name Trump.
In January 2023, the Supreme Court declined to hear the case and an appeal was filed later that month. The Court rejected the case for a second time on Feb. 21.
Aziz Huq, a professor of law at the University of Chicago who is an expert on constitutional law, told The Associated Press that it is unlikely the Supreme Court will ever hear a case such as Adams v. Brunson, given that it relies on a false narrative.
“Certainly something that is founded upon the irresponsible conspiracy mongering fallacies that this petition is based upon seems to me an unlikely fodder for the Supreme Court,” he said.

KEY POINTS FROM THIS ARTICLE
— As Joe Biden seeks a second presidential term, his time as vice president shows how the office can be a springboard to the presidency.
— Former Vice President Mike Pence, meanwhile, is learning that the vice presidency may not be an advantage in seeking a presidential nomination in the anomalous circumstances he experiences.
— Biden dumping Vice President Kamala Harris never was a realistic possibility, and despite Biden’s age, the electoral impact of some voters’ misgivings regarding Harris as a possible president has probably been overstated, and her presence may benefit the Democratic ticket.
— There may be factors that limit the appeal of the person in the no. 2 slot on the GOP side, whether Donald Trump is renominated or not.
