"A cupcake? That's so thoughtful! You didn't have to get me anything Toshinori--" He laughed softly, turning the box around in circles to get a look at the cupcake after opening it. "Was this the personal matter you were talking about?"

 She smiles casually, acting as if she doesn’t even notice they're’ now holding hands, but Emi’s heart jumps happily when it’s obvious he isn’t going to pull away. “It’s a stealth tactic.” She explains, though perhaps that’s a lie. “It lets us blend in better. No one would suspect a couple out on date night of being ‘bad people’.” The term is used lightly, because who could say what made a person “bad” these days?

    “Besides, you look like you could use some kind of physical affection, you always look so grumpy.” She gives him a laugh, giving his hand an affectionate squeeze.

     Covered in blood that wasn’t his own, he was somehow still hungry, still thirsty... It felt like a beast was clawing him deep in his chest, in his stomach. The more he ate... the more he wanted to eat and that wasn’t at all good for him and he knew this and yet...      The news spoke of a serial killer that the pros were having issues with and his ears wriggled as he heard the report and scoffed.. He knew it was about him, he knew it was about his... hunting. He couldn’t help it though, it was kill or be killed in this world wasn’t it?     Still it was a man he stalked this time... A man with shaggy hair who’d be his next meal. Carnivore was hungry... for raw... dripping... f l e s h

The most he could do as the ceiling came down was try to protect his head, bringing his arms up. At least he was wearing his vest, that would take some of the damage. When the hit didn’t come, and it sounded like something else took the brunt of it, he peeked out over his arm. 

“All Might--??” He didn’t even know the man was in the area. 

“Are you-- Are you okay? Ah-- Thank-you.”
