Finished! This one took a bit more time because the background was more detailed than the last two. The third in my series of mermaids combining my love of #popculture and #vintageceramicmermaids introducing the “Jewel of the Sea” my #jem #mermaid she is #trulytrulyoutrageous and check back for her match that I’m currently working on because all #ceramicmermaids come in pairs.

More in my mermaid series that’s based on #vintageceramicmermaids some are based on ones I own, some are based on ones I wish I had. I call this one “Pink Rune” She is based on a #runenaito mermaid, which falls into the I wish I had category, mostly because these mermaids sell for serious $$$. This painting is a combination of paint markers, acrylic paint and glitter. Swipe to see the full painting.

Finally figured out what to paint on that pattern I painted awhile back. I call her “Celeste”, I had quite a few of these I made earlier in the year and felt like making a few more, this series is based on #vintageceramicmermaids some are based on ones I own, some are based on ones I wish I had. I liked the pattern on this one a bit too much to cover it completely so I painted the tail and hair in a way to make the pattern still visible. This painting is a combination of paint markers, acrylic paint and glitter.

I had a thought, how to combine my love of #ceramicmermaids with my love of #popculture This is the result. The first in a series, this is my #xenawarriorprincess @reallucylawless #mermaid and since all ceramic mermaids have a mirrored pair, stay tuned for her match which will be a different kicka$$ lady from one of my childhood favorites.

Here is the second in my series of mermaids that combine my love of #ceramicmermaids and #popculture She-Ra Princess of Power goes perfectly with my previous Xena Warrior Princess because all collectors of ceramic mermaids know they come in pairs.

Recently acquired vintage mermaid. I’m dissapointed she doesn’t quite work with my set up for my other mermaids so I’m contemplating selling her. There is also that part of me that wants to keep her because she is cute, but there really is nowhere to put her.

Updates to the #mermaidthemedbathroom , To the larger section of wall I’ve added a few #bubbles, the mermaid on the #dolphin, #seashell and #starfish are newly acquired, and while I like to stick to originals I couldn’t help but buy the custom mermaid with the yellow tail riding the #seahorse (swipe for close up) made my #sandyshores on ebay, her paint job is spectacular. On a different section of wall I added two blue #fish.
