Here is the second in my series of mermaids that combine my love of #ceramicmermaids and #popculture She-Ra Princess of Power goes perfectly with my previous Xena Warrior Princess because all collectors of ceramic mermaids know they come in pairs.

More in my mermaid series that’s based on #vintageceramicmermaids some are based on ones I own, some are based on ones I wish I had. I call this one “Pink Rune” She is based on a #runenaito mermaid, which falls into the I wish I had category, mostly because these mermaids sell for serious $$$. Finally figured out what to paint on that pattern I painted awhile back. I call her “Celeste”, I had quite a few of these I made earlier in the year and felt like making a few more, this series is based on #vintageceramicmermaids some are based on ones I own, some are based on ones I wish I had. I liked the pattern on this one a bit too much to cover it completely so I painted the tail and hair in a way to make the pattern still visible. This painting is a combination of paint markers, acrylic paint and glitter.

I had a thought, how to combine my love of #ceramicmermaids with my love of #popculture This is the result. The first in a series, this is my #xenawarriorprincess @reallucylawless #mermaid and since all ceramic mermaids have a mirrored pair, stay tuned for her match which will be a different kicka$$ lady from one of my childhood favorites.
