what’s your astrological sign? instead of answering this cause i want to maintain that air of intrigue and also you obvs know, i’m gonna complain about the other thing you know about that happened a few days ago. aka when we got carded, and she gives yours like a cursory glance, and then launches a full scale interrogation on me like????? ok i look young-ish, but i’m very clearly college aged, especially when i actually put effort into what i’m wearing. and she like examines it for minutes, and then asks my zodiac, and i answered but like??????? i didn’t learn my zodiac until maybe 2 years ago and only bc of those tumblr posts????? and like ofc i make a comment like ‘glad i’m familiar with astrology’ cause, y’know, nOT EVERYONE IS, and then she like literally, turns back to me and asks if i’m of legal age, and i’m like YES. I AM. ugh. (note it /was/ my real ID, it’s worth the wait kids be responsible). 

what’s the best piece of advice you ever received? uhmmm idk i’ve received advice from so many different people on so many different things this is kind of hard to nail down. but my old url vinyletches is a reference to a conversation my dad and i were having about tattoos that morphed into a conversation about permanency and selfhood. and he described your self as a record. and y’know the music of a record is determined by the grooves, and there are predetermined grooves, but you can change the sound and the feel and the meaning infinitely bc of all the different combination of grooves you can carve yourself. idk if this makes sense but just the concept that. no fate is permanent, we can always change. we are the person we choose to be.

when’s the last time you followed your instincts? i honestly feel like i’m always following my instincts. when i reason through a situation i’m using my instincts to make decisions and to interpret situation? idk jim kirk. that’s my answer.

what’s your favorite food? why are these all so harddddd. probably pasta just….in general. like all types of pasta. spaghetti, ravioli, tortellini, ziti, i made a ton of spinach & mushroom & cheese stuffed pasta shells before finals week and there were days when it was literally the only Good Thing. gotta rep that italian heritage amirite.

what’s your secret dream? THERE ARE SO MANY HOW? ok so i always imagined meeting leonard nimoy…. and now we’re all sad. i have happy ones too tho! i want to see the northern lights. i want to learn to sail. i want to learn to surf. also! i want to climb mount everest (i have no climbing experience tho so :/)
