Favorite romantic dynamic/trope(s)?

— i feel like everyone has that attraction to enemies to lovers (i do, it’s one of my favourite when picking out a book to read) but there are quite a few that i do love and hate (felt like making a list)

TROPES I LOVE:

Enemies to Lover - usually the dynamic of the couple is just pure banter (funny) but the argument between morals is just amazing as well. downside is that once they get together the banter just disappears and there is nothing i like about the couple anymore. but overall, it’s a classic trope that everyone has an unhealthy relationship with.

Grumpy vs Sunshine - it's like opposites attract, it's cute, it's exciting and also a bit sexy depending on what books you have read. but overall, it shows that love can bring two different people together that work amazingly despite their differences and who doesn't like seeing the grumpy character melt for the sunshine?

Different Backgrounds/Worlds - Basically like royalty with a common, it's not typically forbidden love but the obstacles that are shown are so interesting to me since it presents how the characters work together and see if they are a good mate (seeing how love prevails all).

The One that Got Away - who doesn't like a sad trope? I feel like this trope shows how wonderful but how painful love can be, it's like you found the one yet you can't have...it's just angst that is too painful to handle.

Academic Rivals - it's funny and competitive and usually mixed with the classic enemies to lovers but there are subtle sweet moments where your heart will just melt at the fact that a character did that for them.

Grovelling - not really a trope, but i like men begging for forgiveness even though, the women don't make it last long...make him fight more!

TROPES I HATE:

Romeo and Juliet - the forbidden trope is good if done right but the whole aspect of Romeo and Juliet made me realise that they were never in love with each other, so that being connected with forbidden love just doesn't seem right to me at all. in my opinion, like i said before, Romeo and Juliet never loved each other, they loved the idea of escaping from the only thing they knew and they were that. Romeo loves Juliet because she was an escape from his life and vice versa with Juliet to Romeo.

Love Triangle - i have never seen three people act the most stupid in their lives and it's just so confusing in my opinion. yes, it is nice to have challenges and tension in the relationship to test the couple...but why did you need to add cheating into the mix.

Best Friend's Ex - now why are you breaking friend code? where is your common sense? it just doesn't feel right in my opinion. never like it and probably never will.

You were a Bet - and i refuse to be a joke...it's been overused to the point where when it comes up, it isn't surprising anymore

Cheating - i don't have to explain to be honest and when the main character takes them back...ew...

Brain rot hours: Dad gojo tries to take care of y/n when she’s sick but she wants nothin to do with his dumbass 🤦🏻‍♀️

— GOJO SATORU || TAKE CARE OF Y/N (JJK SERIES)

Wrapping yourself tightly in the large white blanket that was given to you by one of Gojo’s servants (who was assigned to you) you attempted to warm yourself as much as you could while trying to maintain the remaining heat of your body temperature to help somewhat comfort you with the illness you had right now.

To be honest, you didn’t know how you got into this situation since the last time you had went out was with your trio classmates: Itadori Yuji, Fushiguro Megumi and Kugisaki Nobara to complete a single mission and you probably managed to catch something either on the way there, during the time at your location for the mission or on the way back from the same mission, leading you to be residing within a futon as tightly as possible while one of your hands was being held by a certain sorcerer that was napping next to you right now.

Gojo Satoru is someone that nobody would call an ideal type to be a father or a father figure at all due to his cheeky and understandably annoying personality, but there are times when you saw a serious side to your adopted father, just that it was rarely shown or it was perfectly hidden within him somewhere that refused to resurface. However, when it came to you, Gojo was quite unbearable when he was informed that you had suddenly come down with a cold.

Clearly, you were somehow able to recalled the loud bang of the shoji that was the barrier between your room and the hallway causing you to jump in your little wrapped cocoon in shock before hearing him worryingly (sarcastically or not) mutter to you about asking how you were feeling and if you had eaten yet as well as the servant that was taking care of you before he arrived, arguing with him that he needed to stay away from you, so he didn’t catch your illness leading to the strongest sorcerer to exaggeratively cry that he needed to take care of you since you were his daughter and it was his responsibility as a father to do so, sort of reminding you of Takamki Suoh from Ouran High School Host Club slightly.

“Have you eaten yet? You need to be the strongest after me!”

“Have you drank enjoy water? You need more water dear~ You can’t die on me”

“Sweet! You need sweet to bring your sugar levels back up!”

“Coffee with extra extra sugar right?”

As time went on, you didn’t know if you were getting more irritated due to your headache somewhat become worse than it already was cause of his bickering or if you were extremely grateful for the effort he was putting into taking care of you since you couldn’t really remember when was the last time since someone took care of you. 

From what you could recall, you were the type that rarely got sick and actually maintained somewhat of a strong immune system but when you got ill, it was quite bad and it would take a while for you to get better. From your childhood, you could only remember the times when you would be alone in your little rented house trying to get better somehow without the guide of a guardian causing you to sometimes miss some meals since you were too fatigued or dizzy to even make it yourself causing the process of ‘getting better’ to be more difficult than it ever would be without a parent or someone to help you in your care. Of course, people around your neighbourhood would start to get worried but you didn’t have the strength to answer the door since you were stuck within the futon that you couldn’t get out of due to how tired and weak you felt.

Slowly opening your eyes, you tried to avoid looking into the brightness as much as possible due to your headache and noticed how Gojo - who was laying right next to you - seemed to be taking a nap while holding onto one of your hands leading your mind to continuously recall all the times you were extremely lonely and painful it was when you came down with something before coming into contact with the said sorcerer, leading a tear to gradually drop from the corner of your eye as each grey memory came into play, from the dark atmosphere of the room due to you not being able to turn on the lights to how hungry you were because of how weak you felt to cook anything for yourself.

As much it was an annoyance to have Gojo try to take care of you with wacky medicines causing the maids to argue with him to him being too loud in general leading you to take some painkillers to subside the immense pain that was going through in your head. You would rather have Gojo taking a few days off his job as a sorcerer and try to take care of you rather than being alone again in a cold house that you were on the paper edge of being able to afford with the money you had remaining at that time with the pain of both your illness as well as loneliness that no child should ever go through for the majority of their childhood.

“Thank you…” you muttered quietly with a slight struggle as you slowly closing your eyes again before tightening the hold you had on his hand, scared that the comfort that was kindly giving you by Gojo was going to disappear as you let sleep consume you for the fourth time today.

Sneakily, the corners of his lips began to peek up as his eyes steadily began to open causing Gojo to have a view of you tightly curled up in your futon along with your hand tightly gripping his in a way to convey to him to not let go, causing his other hand to reach over and gently placed on your head before smoothing down in a way to provide you with extra comfort.

“No problem Y/N,” Gojo answered back with a smile before closing his eyes once again to fall into the same darkness that you were in right now.

Wuts ur favorite character archetype(s)?

- Kinda random kinda related but I like how JJK characters start out seemingly as “cardboard cut out” stereotypes until light sheds upon how well they’re actually fleshed out and their personalities are realistic

With that being said, is there a character archetype you’d like to see in jujutsu kaisen?

— for me, i feel like i can enjoy most character archetypes and to be honest (up to the recent chapter of jjk) i am satisfied with the characters because there are so many to the point where you are not bored at all ʕ ﾟ ● ﾟʔ
