Preparation for the study

Hello guys!

Well, I've been doing a course of java in the past week or so, but I haven't been tracking and I want to keep a progress to be more sure I am in a good pace and will end it (kinda) faster.

So today I am going to pick a schedule and turn it into a habit, also I am going to organize how I will spend my time studying. I am learning Java (still on the very beginning heelp). So far, have made into 55 of 541 videos in the Java course, 77 hours of lessons and there's also practice and some challenges to do. I don't think I am able to get it done if I don't put my effort into being aware of my time, so my biggest flaw here is to keep focus and avoid procrastination at all my costs.

And when I end this course I will continue with the ""sequel"", my point is to keep learning so I can get a job at the field and move on into being able to buy more books and keep this looping going. As the obsessive I am, I'm fully engaged in tech obviously, so my plans much depends on learning about it, and then how to make everything in my life about it too so... Yeah it will be fun, and a big stress probably. Hope I don't burn my head doing that.

Also, I bought last week a few other courses, cuz they were for such a good price I couldn't say no. Still haven't picked any of them to study, but, respectively they are:

Those are some topics I am interested in, even knowing a little about one here and there, will be a great challenge to advance my comprehension. I need to find time to put them into schedule. Of course, but fuck it I can handle - just not at the same time obviously, sometime I will get there I just need to be patient with myself and keep consistency at check.

It’s been a little bit since I’ve last written directly, here on the site. Most of this has to do with mental burn-out and the current political climate. The rest of it has to do with me being absolutely addicted to Minecraft and the little world I’ve built where I routinely solo-raid the Nether while continually building cobblestone fences around my house. But, I figured I’d write something here before I head off to work for the umpteenth time.

So, first things first, if you missed it, I am now a moderator over at labyrinth.zone, wherein I’ll be working with other moderators handling reports. I threw my hat into the ring with this instance, because it is, quite frankly, one of my favorite places to post. Why not go deeper in that involvement? Hence, here we are.

In other personal updates, I’ve been trying to find a solution to my want for a personal Minecraft Java server, that can be public, and also have some addons, without it costing nearly 60 dollars a month. And it would seem that the only current solution there would potentially be for this, would be to host the server entirely myself, on my own system. Which, I don’t think I’d like to do.

Since I currently pay Linden Labs to have my own personal homestead where I host my store, and some other little things, it wouldn’t currently make sense to suddenly erect a Minecraft server that adds on to those costs.

Everything costs too much in 2025.

In relation to my music, and the ongoing album I’ve been working on, I haven’t had much of a chance to move forward with this yet, but I think it is a good idea to periodically talk about how I’ve decided to drop the “PLEXX” project, and move everything back to Eyeshadow 2600 FM. As long and as nonsense as the name is for this musical project, I decided that there’s really no reason to abandon pieces of the past, just because I was weird about naming things 8 years ago.

And, as for my book, “Dissolution Protocol,” I haven’t really made a whole lot of progress on this. In fact, as soon as “AI” became a thing, I mostly stopped progressing in writing entirely. Unless, you know, it has to do with writing on my website.

This is still something I’m working through, trying to grasp at reasons to continue, while there are potentially hundreds of thousands of people out there drooling over the chance to rip-off anyone and everything for their own personal gain.

But, that’s mostly it from me in regard to personal updates.

As another reminder, I’m running an old-school kind of bulletin board over at forum.mkultra.monster, where you can sign up, drop a thread, start a conversation, and maybe even contribute to starting up a community! Kodak updates Prinergy workflow

Kodak has introduced Prinergy 11, the latest version of its prepress workflow software, which is designed to work across analog and digital production.

The headline feature is for more efficient support for both digital and traditional print production. There is now direct connection to the Prosper presses, including the Ultra 520, 7000 Turbo and 6000 Presses.

Prinergy’s APPE RIP and Preflight+ have been upgraded and the system now supports for Windows 2022 and Mac OS 14, though not the current OS 15. Kodak has replaced Java VM with Corretto VM for improved reliability and security.

JAKARTA: Indonesia’s Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD will be a vice-presidential running mate for former Central Java governor Ganjar Pranowo in contesting the presidential election on Valentine’s Day next year. 

Former president Megawati Soekarnoputri, chairwoman of the ruling Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P), made the announcement during a media event held at the party’s headquarters on Wednesday (Oct 18).

"He is a qualified intellectual," she said, referring to Mr Mahfud as he and Mr Pranowo entered the venue together.

"He is an honest and brave person who always fights for the rights of the people. The pairing of Mr Ganjar and Mr Mahfud will enrich this country's democracy."

Commenting on his pairing with Mr Pranowo, Mr Mahfud said: “I know exactly that Mr Ganjar is a popular and brave leader. He dares to correct wrongdoings, dares to accept criticism, and dares to fight for political values that he believes in.”

Meanwhile, Mr Pranowo asked for the support of the Indonesian people. 

"We are confident that with this shared spirit, we will soon achieve a much better future and life for the entire Indonesian nation," he said.

The announcement, which analysts whom CNA spoke to say is a strategic move, comes a day before the election commission opens registration for presidential and vice-presidential candidates.

So far, three people have announced their interest to run as president. 

Apart from Mr Pranowo, Defence Minister Prabowo Subianto has expressed his intention to run for the third time.

He is endorsed by his party Gerindra, the country’s third-biggest political party, as well as the country’s second-biggest political party Golkar and several others. 

Former Jakarta governor Anies Baswedan, backed by the country’s fourth biggest party Nasdem, and chairman of PKB Muhaimin Iskandar also declared their eagerness to run as president and vice-president. 

The pair said they will register at the election commission on Thursday, while Mr Subianto has yet to announce his running mate.
