Judy: It’s time to go already...  Bristol: Right. Let’s say bye to the King and Queen. Lori: Bye Marshall, Maren. Marshall: Let me walk you all out. Oh Riley can you help Maren with turning of the music...? *winks*  Riley: Of course... Maren: Uhm... Wait Erich... Thank you for keeping our secret. Erich: No problem. You look cute together. And Marshall agrees so why wouldn’t I? Riley: It means a lot man. Thank you. Now Pretty... Just one more night. Are you ready for tomorrow? Maren: I am a bit nervous. What if they flip out? Riley: Then they do... Nothing will change the way I feel. The only thing I’m nervous about is what you brothers is going to do. Maren: Me too. He didn’t tell me anything. Maybe he doesn’t know himself yet. Riley: We’ll see... Bye Pretty, love you. *kisses hands* Maren *blush* Love you too.

11/27-  What are some future opportunities I have that I am grateful for? It is difficult to look at any future opportunities because with everything going on, it’s hard to know what the future holds. If you had asked me this question last March I would have said a bunch of plans I had for summer 2020 that were subsequently cancelled due to the pandemic. I am most looking forward to my sister’s “wedding”/vow renewal next summer, and grateful to be her maid of honor. Even though it’s been a stressful time helping her plan things and planning things myself, it’s been a great journey.
11/28-  Share one tip with the community on how to live life with at attitude of gratitude. I am actually going to steal one from the book I’m reading- fake it till you make it. Some days I wake up and go to work and don’t feel grateful. The last two days have been awful and sad and busy and stressful and overwhelming. I don’t feel grateful in the moment.  But the book I am reading says to fake it till you make it and write down things you *should* be grateful for, even if you don’t feel it, and eventually it will take hold.

Nov 29 2020 - W4D6 - NLxC99 grow - 4ml/gal GH floranova grow @2.8pH w/ 5.6 drain pH adjustment.
Broke manifold more on plant 1. Taped. She'll pull through. Only plant with 4 tops. 2nd plant seems to have a defect as only one top sprouted left side. Was consistant along left side at higher modes before 2nd topping. Weird.
Supercropped plant 1 and 3 to let 2 catchup.

What does Healthy eating look like to you? How close are you toward those goals?
On average, Im at least 80% healthy versus junk. This past week I’ve allowed Halloween candy into my life a little too much. I’m normally very careful with sugar.
Healthy eating for me: no processed sugar. No matter what diet I follow, eating in moderation without mindless eating especially at night.
Healthy eating is not starving yourself to the point you will eat just about anything. Healthy eating is not being afraid of food because it’s not on your special diet.
Food tastes so damn good. The government and manufacturing companies make sure they get you addicted to processed foods instead of Whole Foods. They make fast food less expensive than whole fruits and vegetables. We have to fight these battles every day and not just inside of our own head. We love cheap, fast and convenient. In the US (fattest country in the world) We have numerous home food delivery companies who deliver you McDonald’s or groceries. We don’t even walk to our car anymore to go get food. This is all kind of wrong.

10k training W4D6 and 7: 13 km and 7 km easy
Longest run in a surprising number of weeks yesterday morning with a hard-earned 4:45 minute final kilometre. Followed that with my first non-training shift at my new waitressing job and drinks with the boyfriend at two of our favourite neighborhood bars. I was a bit hungover this morning and my legs were pretty trashed, but I still got my run done in some gross drizzly weather.
This was my highest mileage week since my marathon (what???) and I'm feeling pretty great!

W4D6 - 32k (arctic temperatures)
I honestly don’t felt like I’m in marathon training right now. I wasn’t even sure if I’m still capable of running 32k.
Don’t think - just run!
It was absolutely dreamy and just flowing. Like I had this run in my body waiting to be unchained. Yaaaasss! I’m still a marathon runner & I don’t need to run 80+km/week to feel fast and powerful! What a feeling! ✨

Riley: I can’t believe the 4 weeks are almost done... Bristol: It went by quicker then I thought it would go. Judy: Yeah but that says something. Rosetta: Says what? Judy: We had a great time. Over all we didn’t have too much drama. Erich: True. Again I didn’t mean it yesterday Rosetta... Rosetta: It’s all good. We already talked about it. Besides I don’t have room enough in my mind to think about it. Lori: Nervous? Bristol: I know I am. Lori: Same...  Erich: I think we all are. Judy: Not all... Lori: What? You’re not nervous? Judy: It’s not going to be me. Riley: *stands up* Me neither... So it’s between you four. I’m heading to bed. Good night! Lori: Why wouldn’t you... Judy: It’s just like that don’t worry about it. Lori: Okay... Well then I’m going upstairs as well. Sleeptight!

Indy Mini W4D6 - easy 5 I was thinking of going to the gym to run these since it was so cold outside. But I was talking to my mom on the phone and she encouraged me to run outside. I knew she was right, so I bundled up and headed out. I kept things nice and easy for this run. I went out last night with some friends so I was feeling that a bit today haha but nothing too bad. But I just ran along and sprinkled in some short walk breaks when I wanted to. Overall, it was a nice run! Nice to get out and get some fresh air :) Happy Saturday! Hope you're all enjoying the weekend :)

Today I Learned: how to read Capybara specs.
I spent the day preparing for the assessment on Tuesday. I found that once I learned how to read Capybara specs, I could do the practice assessment more easily.
I did a few practice tests. Then I wrote a guide for my cohort: Harry Potter And Authentication In Rails. I began drafting another guide: Rails: Common Errors And How To Tame Them. I will try to finish the compendium of common errors tomorrow and if I have time I will try to write up Harry Potter And How To Read Capybara.

W4D6 - 30km long run ...or marathon training doing its magic: new half marathon PR (1:54:30) and 2:42:50h // 30km despite some hills. Before my first marathon I needed 3:30+h...and I got the most beautiful, comfy and fast running shoes I've ever had: Mizuno wave sayonara 4. I'm sure we'll run my next marathon together and I'm so excited for it!
