Back in the 70s (before all you kids were born), the only way to watch a favorite Disney film at home was on Super 8 film. "Island of Mystery" was a 12 minute clip from "Swiss Family Robinson" of the climactic pirate battle. The 200' reel was available with or without a soundtrack. Most of us had the silent version because it was much cheaper, and our parents (those people with the money) preferred cheaper when it came to things like this. As short and silent as it was, the film was exciting and made us long to visit the Treehouse in Anaheim, with its lofty views of the Jungle Cruise river down below.
