Yet another message that has been in my ask box forever, I’m so horrible, I usually write for 10K X Reader, that pairing, I certainly wouldn’t do this idea justice. Again, I feel like @natszang has something like this out already. I’d totally check out her masterlist.

1. Post some selfies where you feel cute af: I feel cute af in like all of my selfies but there are two of my fave long-hair selfies and my most recent short-hair selfies. In the first one I had just gotten that coOL ass jacket which is my dad’s varsity wrestling jacket from 1963. In the second one I went to Sephora with my friend and she made me look like ‘a scary pediatrician’. In the third one I had my eyebrows kinda done and I was listening to some top. Fourth one is from that ONE time it snowed this year which wasn’t that long ago. Fifth one was on Saint Patrick’s day (thus the earrings). The sixth one is me channeling my inner top self.

2.Something you love about your hair:It’s thick af without being ~too~ thick.

3. Something you love about your eyes: They’re grey, and I have heterochromia so they’re multi-colour. They start of brown around the pupil, turn more blue, and then fade out into a steely grey with a really dark grey rim around the whole iris. Yeet I love my eyes.

4.Something you love about your mouth: I’ve begun to appreciate the shape of my mouth after starting to wear lipstick? idk they’re pretty well shaped.

5.Something you love about your nose:I have a ‘lil beauty mark on the side of my nose.

6.Something you love about your legs: I have a literal map to my childhood consisting of scars. My knees and thighs are liTTered with scars.

7.Something you love about your butt: I actually don’t like my butt because I’m always self-concious of it hanging out when I wear short shorts so I like always have to wear a flannel but idk. I’m a white girl I don’t think I really have a butt.

8. Something you love about your stomach: I have a lil scar on my waistline and it looks really tough (even tho I got it from a hamper)

9. Something you love about your chest:I don’t really have a chest it’s just a boob shelf.

10. Something you love about your weight: right now?  I like dropped ten pounds because I’ve been sick since December. It’s been great because I’m really self-conscious about my weight.

12. When do you feel prettiest? When I’m walking alone in a crop top and some shorts with the wind running through my hair and it’s kinda warm but the breeze makes it cool. Or when it’s really snowy.

five things I don’t write in fics

i was tagged by @marauders-groupie and this took way longer than it should’ve

1. smut. i mean, i’ve written sex. like, the vague descriptions of they’re naked, they’re kissing, they’re saying things to each other - but, i’ve never described a penis for the reader. it just doesn’t happen, and that’s totally on purpose. my readers know what a penis looks like, anyway.

2. ship before plot - this is strange, i know. i write fic for the ships (bellarke, sheith, memori probably) - but i don’t like having no plot driving the characters together (not to say i haven’t written a few where it’s just 2000 words of them meeting or whatever), and i don’t like the ship taking up the entire story. i like writing stories not writing ships - and i didn’t realise this was really a thing of mine until a recent sheith fic where i had this overarching plot behind it. my fics have a story behind them. bellamy wants to keep his orphanage up and running. clarke wants to be a musician. shiro wants to change altea and take down the mayor in his parkour crime gang.

3. i don’t ever limit the comedy. basically i’ve already run out of points, but i read a lot of fics that are just entertaining in the sense the characters start dating - and it’s 5 fucking k. i don’t need that. i need entertainment and i like my awful sense of humour shining through. i will absolutely write that soulmate au that’s supposed to be meaningful and beautiful, where the drawings on your skin appear on the other person’s, and make it about dicks drawn on foreheads. just fuckin watch me.

4. long ass fics with a small time frame. i’ve read plenty of super long fics that take place over a month, and i just can’t write them myself. in my two 60k fics, one of them takes place over 8 years or so, and the other 13. i like writing little snapshots of their lives and coming back to it later on. i just can’t figure out how to do it otherwise - i get bored of the story.

5. i try not to use overused tropes. i don’t think i’ve ever written a coffeeshop au, a we’ve-got-to-share-a-bed, arranged marriage, secret relationship, fake relationship au. i’m not saying they’re bad, but there’s no way in which i can write it without feeling like i’m taking other people’s ideas. it’s the same reason i try not to do the same soulmate aus that my friends have written unless i have a distinctly different idea, i’ve never written that street racers fic because i read lana’s and i’d just want to plagiarise, that mermaid fic because i’d totally just write the same thing as chash. if i’m writing a fic, i want it to be something i haven’t read somewhere else, so i know it’s my idea and not like any of the others i’ve read.
