It’s been a weird day for me. I’ve never had much love for valentines, but this year is my first single in 8 or 9 years so it’s been a bit of a feels trip. The highlight of today is this little piece of jewelry. One of my friends commissioned it for his girlfriend/my friend/our Dungeon Master - it’s a custom cuff with her Wasteland Weekend tribe logo hand painted, the whole thing aged, and then sealed with resin. It was a new technique for me and I’m super happy with how it came out! Tell me about your favorite of your characters?????

oh man i know i said derick was my favorite but i really can't choose a real favorite i'll tell you about derick anyway

derick's parents met and was born in hawaii but grew up on the mainland (haven't decided what state). he's always really liked bugs and was open about it as a little kid but the other kids and his parents thought that was kind of weird and gross so even tho he was still really interested in them he hid it, but on trips to japan to visit his dad's family he would always find these shiny black stag beetles and was enamored with them. in highschool a lot of kids liked him and he dated a lot of girls but continued to hide his real interests. he went to college for a fresh start but met greg and fell in love with him and he cared a wholelot what greg thought about him so he just kept lying about himself. greg decided to drop out and convinced derick to do the same, but they lost contact and since then derick's been jumping from job to job, not making a lot of money but making a lot of depression
