So we have established canon that water heals percy. The Riordanverse Wiki states:

"Percy can heal most wounds and cure most poisons when in contact with water, the amount of water and time needed for the healing being proportionate to the severity of the wound."

I recall him doing that in rivers and the ocean, but i might forget something (correct me if i did).

Now that raises the question about limitations. Does that always happen or does he need to activate it? Does any water work? Does the wound need to be in contact with water for it to work or is it enough to just have Percy in general in contact with it?

Because if those limitations are not in place, there could be some awesome shenanigans that could happen. Allow me to paint you some pictures.

Winter, freezing temperatures. The streets are covered in ice, everyone stumbles, slides and falls down. Enter Percy, ADHD-clumsiness, who stumbles and falls on his face. Small bruises, maybe some scratches and stuff. Snow falls down as he gets up, lands on his hair and face, melts there. The wounds heal almost instantly.

Summer, Percy is having a water pistol battle in the park with Annabeth and Grover. A monster shows up, Percy takes care of it. He gets mildly injured and his friends shoot him with their waterpistols. Percys wounds heal and he continues fighting, revitalized by water pistols.

Percy sees someone get beaten up in an alleyway. It's late, raining, and he decides to help. Fists first he goes in and gets the person out. The people hitting them? They get scared shitless from the dude being hit and wounded and healing instantly, his blood mixing with the raindrops on his face from cuts already gone.

Percy is helping Sally in the kitchen, blue cookies in the oven, Estelle playing in the background. Percy takes the cookies out, stumbles over a toy, burns himself. He holds his hand under running water, as anyone would, and the burn is already fading.

Annabeth is commenting on his beverage of choice, arguing that would be the most unhealthy choice and to please drink something that contains water. Percy, grinning like an idiot, cuts his finger and dumps it in his drink to prove her wrong. (She is correct, it does not heal.)

Kinda random but is it weird/bad I found the idea of the people who came to know and love the puppets (lead by Fionn and/or Peony) confronted the Demonic(?) Home with stuff like hoses, waterpistols, waterballoons or even a few PowerWashers?

Archie and Maxie: Have Paintguns they use to shoot at each other when annoyed. Which is all the time.

Miror B: Confetti Guns only

Cyrus: Just stares at it some days, intently, for minutes on end. Contemplating. Everyone is getting worried. The gun was removed. He was given a waterpistol instead. His Gyarados is delighted. Sometimes, Cyrus is even seen with a smile since then.

Colress: Has turned it into a teleportation gun

Rose: Doesn't know he has one. Oleana has it. Arceus knows how she uses it.

Lusamine: See Ghetsis.

Guzma: Doesn't have a gun, doesn't need one, he could hold two grunts on his own. Dude has GUNS. Also maybe a pocket knife, used for wood carving

Volo: He is old fashioned. He will fight God using only his fists and rage.
