thinking about boyfriend heeseung who wears glasses; just imagine going in for a kiss, and pushing those thick-framed spectacles up his nose bridge, your faces inches apart from one another. and he simply watches in light anticipation, a small smile toying on the corners of his lips, a breathy chuckle being elicited in the process.

“you’re adorable”, he’d whisper, breath softly fanning your cupid’s bow; he has a hand on the dip of your waist, and he lightly tugs you towards him, your lips now mere millimeters away from each other. “god, you’re irresistible”, he mumbles, gaze fixated on your parted lips. and there and then, he pulls you in for a kiss; and maybe, just maybe, he smiles against the kiss, the corners of his lips curved up in the faint appearance of a small grin; note to heeseung, please wear glasses more often.

It almost felt as if it was a scene out of a movie, the ashy clouds draping over the blanket of stars and with their counterpart of droplets falling from its cheeks, one by one. The music boomed from inside the coloured buildings, rain pitter pattering against the pavement. However, a comfortable silence embraced you as you walked beside Na Jaemin down the empty streets.

And as the rain came as a steady downpour, you turned to face the boy that had ceased your heart in your youth. He held the same gentle smile on his cheeks, eyes still filled with the same adoration and his grown out locks coated by the raindrops. 

“How have you been Y/N.”

You could only look away from his shining eyes, your heart rested at a steady pace and a healing smile appeared on your lips, “Good,” You said without a stutter, “I’ve been really good.”

Because life really was good to you. Because you had finally learnt to grow without him. Because you had finally gotten the closure that you needed.

As you bask in the remaining warmth of the setting sun, your tail swished back and forth in content, feeling the steady purring coming from your boyfriend's chest on your cheek as you lay on him.

Your boyfriend's hand slowly went from your waist to your head, stroking your hair before scratching behind your ear, purring into his chest, you nuzzle closer to him, taking in the scent of his cologne.

"I could get used to cuddling with you like this forever." You say with a sigh of content, you could make out the sound of his heart beating from behind the vibrations of his purrs, you also hear a chuckle coming from his chest.

"Me too," he pauses, taking a big breath of air through his pointed nose before continuing to speak, "Let's spend all of our 9 lives together?"

He said, as cheesy, as that sounded, nothing seemed better than living out your days with the love of your lives.
