I know I should be seething in rage at the fact that tone-deaf white tourists are now pulling a Very Tourist Thing and begpacking their way into staying in one of our islands when there is clearly a shortage of labor opportunities for natives of that place.

And I am, steamingly, very angered by this, and I'd love to snap some necks

#some residents of the island are saying they see more of them and that they're acting out to be really privileged about working for lodging #AND free food #can you believe that????#we are fucking on the brink of recession!!! do you motherfuckers not realize that eight months of staying here without travel visas #is actually NOT a flex???#meanwhile i have to bend my fucking back trying to secure visas and not think about the possible wrong answers i may say to the IO #like fuck OFF AND OUT OF HERE and keep your island fantasy away from here unless you really just want to relax!!#don't overstay your welcome!!#cost of everything?? basically US prices at this point #and that is a clear struggle because our wages do not cut it #aaaaaaaaa
