i still cant believe john & cam had One scene together and it spawned a movement!

like i was so confused when i found out there are over 400 fics for them on ao3 lol ?? until i read one and i was like ohhhhhhhh i get it now haha. honestly the writers were ahead of the game and im so grateful that we have at least One scene in canon establishing their dynamic :)))))

AND we got a scene between vala & john & rodney (i rly wish they were all in the same frame but it’s Fine) WHICH IS GINORMOUS WIN !!!! bc vala & john are best friends (vala is literally painted john’s nails rn) and rodney is def their 3rd wheel that they occasionally torture <33333

idk if its retcon but it feels like a retcon considering we have WW meaning the greek gods should exist here aka Poseidon probably be part of the founding of Atlantis

i’m not too familiar with the lore of atlantis in other universes but to me it just seems the writers here like to fuck over the atlanteans a lot which is sad. also i’m not sure about any greek gods getting involved with savage but i guess we’ll have to see in future eps

also i think there’s a whole waiting list of people wanting to kill savage because he’s an asshole 💀

guys can we just put all of the past behind us and watch universe lol. hear me out okay! it’s been over a decade since it’s cancellation and if we start liking it now, literally nothing will change. the show is never coming back sooooo let’s start yassifying it like we did with atlantis!

don’t like any of the (terrible) straight ships? can i interest you in elimatt, chloetj, and the science trio hehe. don’t like the whole rush vs young argument that pops up almost every ep? ignore them! skip their scenes!

there’s SO much good in universe … it’s just unfortunately mixed in with some bad :/ but still! it doesn’t deserve to be treated like it doesn’t exist lmfao. it’s easily the most beautiful stargate show with stunning visuals & some great fight scenes! also there’s FIVE women who have speaking roles + a few more that pop up as recurring guests !! that’s unheard of for stargate ahah. besides the ships, there’s already some great friendships too. and it also has some of the best eps in the Franchise and i will perish on this hill <3
